I was here for a birthday celebration with my family. Even though we got to know this place through Google, but it was the best choice that we've made.

The service was top notch, thanks to the accommodating, down-to-earth chef; With many laughters and generous portion by the chef, this will be one of the best service that I've ever experienced in Malaysia.

In terms of the food, no questions asked, no comment is needed - it's already the best that it can be. I just need to let you know, be warned that you will be overload with lots of wagyu at an exceptional price. Honestly, what more could you asked for more?

On July 27, 2024, I had the pleasure of visiting Tengyu for their highly anticipated Wagyu omakase experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to an unforgettable culinary journey, led by the talented Chef Takeda and the ever-entertaining Chef MJ. Chef MJ's lively personality added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening, making us feel truly special as he carefully explained each dish. I’m not certain the name of the captain/waiter who attended to us that night, but I want to extend my thanks for the excellent service we received.

The quality of the food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was meticulously crafted, each bite offering a delightful surprise. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the raw Wagyu beef, which was presented with such finesse that it left me utterly speechless. The flavor was so exquisite, words could hardly do it justice. It's an experience I would recommend to any beef lover—this place is a must-visit!

We recently had the Take Omakase menu at Tengyu Omakase and were quite pleased with the overall experience.

Food: The food was impressive, with generous and high-quality cuts of beef that stood out. The pacing and portioning of the dishes were spot on, allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The thoughtful preparation and presentation reflected the care taken by the chef and sous chef.

Service: While the chefs excelled in their craft, the service from the waiting staff left room for improvement. The team could benefit from better training in efficiency and attentiveness, particularly in clearing dishes and serving without disrupting the flow of the meal. This would enhance the overall guest experience and match the level of care shown in the kitchen.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere was generally pleasant and in line with most omakase settings. However, guests seated closer to the kitchen end may find it a bit warm, which could be addressed for added comfort.
