High risk packaging I ordered 1 hot Chai Latte to go and once the drink was ready, and as i picked up the drink the cover popped out and spilled the “hot tea” onto my hand and floor. I kept it on the counter and the barista gave me a paper towel and another cover. Me being me taught i held the cup wrongly. I sealed the cup again with a new cover and proceeded to pick up the cup to leave, yet again the cover popped up and again the “hot tea” spilled on my hand . This time my hand was in agonizing pain. Imagine hot water being poured twice on to your hands. Then i looked around in the cafe for a sink that i can use to pour cold water onto my hands as i was worried that my hand might scald. I couldn’t locate any in the cafe and i asked the barista that I need to pour cold water in to my hand. Initially he told i could use the wash sink behind the counter, as i was approaching the sink I was then stopped and told that the manager’s approval is required and I am to use the washroom outside the cafe thats a distance walk away. Bear in mind I’m in pain at this point. At this point the manager came out and I told the manager with a stern voice that the cup and the cover is faulty I’ve burn my hand twice and i need to pour cold running water on my hand. I was only allowed to use the sink after that. Im very disappointed with the inappropriate approach by the coffee bean staff at this outlet to my ordeal and this is not even my fault. Read moreThe food, drinks and the cafe itself deserves 4-4.5 stars, but the reason for my 3 star review is the very rude and impatient cashier lady (chinese) who was throwing attitude at me just because I was trying to understand the options they had for one of the drinks. I just came back from living abroad so I didn’t know what the options meant around here, so obviously I asked her nicely to explain to me but she just kept repeating the options sarcastically. Not only that, she did not explain beforehand that there was a free size upgrade if you used a CIMB card before she wrote the names on the cup. I said id like to upgrade it, to which she rudely crumpled the cup cover n threw it away lol. There were a few other subtle gestures but it could turn this review into a whole essay.
Anyways, I totally respect and understand that she’s probably tired from her Friday night shift and probably had things going on in her life, but it doesn’t justify bad behaviours towards people. Hope a person like her does not tarnish coffee bean’s good...

It doesnt make sense keep force or blackface to customers when they want to stay a little longer in the shop as there is plenty of space and didnt affect other customers too. Is this the way u all do business? Kindly learn fro another outlet or starbucks.
When customer request additional wifi from starbucks they never force people to make another purchase as they know how important of every single consumer.
