My family and I went came here for dinner after seeing the reviews. The good reviews are true and importantly this unpretentious place right on the beach makes sure they don't charge you unrealistic prices like several other establishments in the neighbourhood. We tried the fish with the Javanese tamarind sauce and it was outstanding. The Thai style fried rice was great, too. The garlic chicken was probably the only dish which we thought could have been better. The drinks were good, too. We had fried noodle and ayam masak merah rice set. The fried meehoon was so sweet with only a few slices of chicken meat, the kuih teow taste horrible, tasteless is the word. The ayam masak merah is nothing close to the norm ayam masak merah, it appears the chicken meat was blanched in water and stir fry in red coloring, what a horrid sight!
