Aladdin Kitchen Cafe Genting Permai — Restaurant in Pahang

Visited there on 5th Jan 2024, lunch time. There is plenty of eateries but we choose this restaurant as we are very concern on halal food. Restaurant was totally empty when we step in, 7 of us. 4 adults and 3 kids of 3 to 8 yrs old of age. We had 1 curry mee, 1 nasi goreng, 1toast, 1 carbonara, 1 chick rice, 1 nasi lemak. The rest are standard beverages

My 2 kids asked for ice lychee, they got 1 lychee in sunquick syrups and 1 lychee in rose syrup. Why??? We did not ask for those flavours. When we taste it, then we understood why they put flavours in. They try to hide the spoiled lychee taste!! The lychee was terribly spoiled, we never allowed the kids to hv a single sip!

The curry me was nice BUT we found strand of hairs. The other foods all are tasteless.. the food quality, taste and cleanliness are far behind the price.

We made full bill payment then only we give our feedback to avoid they assuming is trying to eat for free but suprisingly the staff are emotionless. We told them about the lychees and they are just very ignorance. Twice we highlight but they just showing face to us. No thank you or sorry. Nothing. We paid RM150++ for that lunch and our plates are left still half full. Our drinks also in full glass. Only bottle water was consumed. That shud be a clear message to you, but none of the staff has concern. First and last. We are findings for halal food but we are not consider wht we paid to u as halal for the rest of the things that are not safe to be eaten but u still served us. Service and making faces, behind talking as we leaving, that was very poor group of staff u have. Sorry...

Date of visit 2023 Dec 29 Time of visit 9.30 am to 10 am. Overall 6.8/10. Food 7. Portion 8. Service 7. Indoor Air Conditioning NA. Ambience 7. Outdoor View 5. Price 25 RM/pax (include gst) for 1 adult male and 1 adult female.

Food Order: (1) Herbal Chicken Mee Hoon, (2) Nutrition Wholemeal Bun Peanut and Butter Bread Toast, (3) Enrich Chocolate Ice Blended, (4) Hot Milo Soda. Total RM46.20.

Food: Food was okay. I liked the ice blended enrich chocolate and I would revisit again to try the other blended drinks.

Portion: The bread toast portion seemed small, but it ok for the price. The drink portion is considered good.

Service: Typical service level.

Out Ventilation: There is no air conditioning. We were seated "outside" and still under the shelter. It was cooling and windy, air was fresh.

Ambience: Simple and decent. Moreover, opposite view is just shops, hence nothing...

Went there for lunch. Love the place. The ambience is great and it's a good place to bring your family. SOP is strict. Sanitation is frequent.

I ordered a nasi goreng kampung and The belacan sambal is something to look forward too. Must be an in-house speciality.

Teh ice limau is fantastic. Nicely concocted.

The servers are great too. I think it's a family business and the owners are nice people.

Suppose to go back for dinner but was still full from lunch. So, decided to not too. Bypassed the place in the late evening and it was busy. Happy to see businesses...
