Inside Scoop Sunway Carnival Mall — Restaurant in Penang

Updates April 2025 The pistachio kunafa chocolate ice cream is a blast. I think a person can share a scoop for best experience. It’s rich in taste and smooth in texture. I should go well with cone instead with the waffle. Please don’t get me wrong, their waffle is as good as it is.

This is the best place to sit down and relax your feet in between your shopping in this mall. You can have it on the go as well with their waffle cone ice cream. The waffle smells very good from their table seating behind. The ice cream as smooth and creamy in the way I like. For the dark chocolate which need to top up another RM2, is not too bitter and I would say is slightly at a bitter sweet side. I think the original one should be more too sweet. Overall, I love their ice cream with waffle and will definitely come back again...

I ordered two single scoop ice cream, but the man staff (cashier during that time) was a bit rude, he look at me with annoying face because i was thinking what to order whether waffle or ice cream, then when i want to pay with cash but he (cashier) don’t have change so he ask me to pay with card instead. Receipt also not given but i ask for it. Please ask your staff to greet customer warmly and patiently whatever situation are, even when mask on customer still can see how they react. By the way, yesterday also i came to buy ice cream (at night maybe around 8pm onwards) i ask the girl staff what flavour is the chocolate one because it does not have flavour tag at that time, i couldn’t hear because of the noisy but the staff yelling at me so i decided not to buy. Maybe this is my last time buying at Inside Scoop Sunway...

Great service from one of the workers!! Too bad i didnt get to know her name. She served us from the beginning of choosing ice cream, explained well on each flavour and recommended flavour that suits to my preference.

Ordered nutella waffle, was being told it only takes 10min but we waited agak lama. But i dont really mind cuz i went there just to lepak2 duduk2 w my daughter. Suddenly the cashier gave us a scoop of ice cream just to say sorry cuz theyre having a lil prob w the waffle maker. This small gesture of kindness does give a great impact to us. Thanks! Defo will come here again.
