I liked the drinks. The six treasure was a tad sweet but the flavors were good. Well combined. Cooling and refreshing drink. Coffee was Vietnamese drip style and expectedly thick and bitter. The condense milk was self mixed and mixed to your personal taste.
The prawn roll was well made and the sauce unique. Quite a generous size and the filing was well packed. Good combination. Fresh too. The rice and pork has quite a balanced taste, with the gravy deliciously sour and the pork well seasoned. The pickles were just ok. And the keropok a bit masuk angin. Not crunchy. If you have tasted non crunchy keropok then you know that it's not the best taste in the world. The noodle soup was a disappointment. Soup a bit too salty and the it arrived just north of warm. Personally I would have preferred it to arrive piping hot. The contents were generous portions however and that's the saving grace.
Haven't had time to try their sandwich but the choices look delicious. Probably will drop in again later
it's a semi open kitchen concept so you can look into the kitchen. For now, being new, the kitchen looks blindingly clean and I hope it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA decent place to grab some quick Vietnamese food in a clean and comfortable restaurant in Sunway Carnival mall. Possibly 3.5 stars for me.
The spring rolls and noodles were nice but nothing special. The pho broth was good and had plenty of flavour. The traditional beef stew was somewhat disappointing for me⦠it was cooked well enough with tender chunks of meat, but nothing about it really stood out. And as my wife pointed out: itās pretty hard to mess up stew. The highlight for me was the caramel sliced pork belly: tender, sweet, salty, and a hint of spice. The Vietnamese drip coffee was fine, but Iād honestly be just as happy with kopi bing from most hawkers.
Overall a good meal though Iām not sure Iāll be in a hurry to return unless Iām especially in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is our first time here and the service was great. The staffs were very friendly and will smile when they see kids running around. The ambience here was quite lively accompanied with a clean environment.
The food was great but it depends on what dishes you like and whether are you a fan of healthy Vietnamese food. We loved their tiger prawn roll and pork rice dish but the noodle dish was not to our liking as it was sour.
As for the price, the food here is a bit expensive but the portions are quite reasonable. We donāt eat a lot of Vietnamese food but we will certainly consider coming again...
