I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Texas Chicken restaurant located in Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang, and I must say, it was an experience that left me thoroughly impressed. This branch, in my opinion, is undoubtedly the best in Penang. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and inviting, with a modern, clean, and well-maintained interior that immediately puts you at ease. The seating arrangement is comfortable and spacious, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. The star of the show, however, is the food. Today during lunch I had quite bad experience and I promise I won’t come back to this fast food restaurant again. After order thru the machines I went to ask for the part of the chicken that I want, ended up the guy that serve me didn’t give even one piece like I required. If I order either from KFC or McDonald’s, they staff will either give both parts that I want or at least will give one part of it. There are mountains of chicken place behind him yet he chooses not to give even one part of my requirement. I am not begging for food. I just required the part that I can eat. I spent RM19 maybe not big amount for Texas Chicken, but trust me that if this place have this type of staff that can’t even consider the customer’s requirements then what’s the point i support it. Extremely bad experience dining here. I waited 30 minutes for my food. This is totally unacceptable for a fast food outlet. The worst part is the service from their staff. Asked them why is it taking so long, no one is able to answer me. They just ignored my questions & asked me to continue waiting. Each of them has a very arrogant attitude. More than 10 numbers behind me have all gotten their food & I'm still waiting like a silly person. Another bad point is since I've waited so long, I expect my food to be fresh & warm since they're preparing it, as I suppose.
