I would like to share my recent experience at your Seberang Jaya branch. I made a pre-booking on Thursday evening, with a reserved time of 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, due to my late booking at 6:00 PM, the available slots were fully booked, which I understand.
Upon my arrival, I mentioned that my reservation was under the name Mrs. Asyiah. However, I was directed to sit at a table, and the staff placed the plates in a disorganized manner, without properly setting the table. Afterward, there was no communication from the staff until they mistakenly served my food to another table. Only when they came to my table did they confirm if I was Mrs. Asyiah, at which point they finally brought my order.
To make matters worse, despite arriving at 9:00 PM, the food was not served until around 9:20 PM, and it was already cold by the time it reached my table. I paid nearly 400 for this experience, and I felt that the quality of service did not reflect the price.
This was not my first visit to your establishment. I had brought my family to celebrate my son's birthday and had requested a birthday song to be played through the pre-booking process. Unfortunately, we did not receive this request.
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received on this occasion and the treatment by the staff. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the overall...
Read moreYo! I’m telling ya, this is the best restaurant that serves arab cuisines! Yo, i don’t know how to tell y’all. I’m gonna try, anyway. I ordered through Grab Pick Up and waited outside of the restaurant with my mom in the car. Yo, the waiter guy actually came to my car to pass the food, like, dude you’re so nice! I didn’t expect them to come aaaalll the way to my car. They could have called and told me to come in and get my food. BUT NOOOO, THEY ACTUALLY BROUGHT THE FOOD TO ME! Rajinnya! Terharu saya! I had this grilled lamb chop and YO YO YO….THE BEST I’VE HAD IN PENANG! Might be a bit salty to some of y’all but not to me. NUH-UH! The first bite actually made me wanna cry out of happiness! Mashallah! The dish tastes good; equivalent to Bedouin in TTDI or Al-halabi JW marriott. Wei aku balik penang dah dua tahun, rindu Al-halabi JW marriott weiiii. Akhirnya, i have found an arab restaurant in perai that serves FREAKING GOOD ARAB FOOD! My friend said that Halab’s tastes as good but come on, Halab’s in penang. The islanders have Halab, well here we mainlanders have Tazaa. Muehehehehehe. And also, there was a lady sitting outside the restaurant; i think she’s the boss (or one of the bosses); she was nice too; all smiley and friendly! Yo, I don’t miss KL anymore; I HAVE TAZAA NOW! Sidenote: sorry no photo, gelojoh sey makan tadi, takdan nak snap...
Read moreSuperb. Delicious. Authentic.
These the words come to mind after my meal here. First of all parking is easy. There's usually lots of space and there's a large parking area just next to it.
I ordered the Mandy Chicken and madghout chicken and lamb. I must say that the lamb is superbly cooked. Tender and flavorful. Chicken was cooked short of being dry. Definitely a skilful chef. However the accompanying gravy was a little watery. A bit thicker and the combination would've been out of this world.
If there's enough people in your party, you should definitely order the tazaa mixed grill. It comes with an assortment of meat (chicken, lamb, prawn and 3 different kebabs). All well cooked and delicious with the accompanying sauce. It's an overload of meat, so make sure you have enough mouths to share the load.
I found the hummus mouth watering, spiced just right with a perfect consistency to dip your bread. Unfortunately the adeni tea was a bit thin and flavor watered down.
But in general, I had a good time and totally enjoyed the meal. Will...
