Medan Selera Green Hill — Restaurant in Perak

The ambience is nice and cozy but the food is not that great for Ipoh standard. There are better tasting food around Ipoh. Prices are too high too. Guess it's the price you pay for nice ambience. I ordered salted egg Sotong but what arrived was crispy Sotong. The person serving said they only have salted egg chicken on menu. Then when my friend asked the chef if he could change the chicken to Sotong instead, he said can. We ended up with 2 plates on different Sotong which cost us RM30 each plate of Sotong. Our meal for 2 cost almost RM 90 !! Way too expensive for a dinner for 2. Even warm water they charge RM0.50!! First and last...

Had Wonton Mee - comes with fishball soup from Mee Kari Sri Klasik. The owner was a kind man and helped me out a bit. The egg noodle tasted nice with mushrooms. It was 8 MYR.

Didn’t realized that Teh O is actually sweet 😂 first time having it.

Locals were singing along with the live music. It was a lovely experience.

When you're a group of Aunties on a long weekend jaunt, your first priority is food la. There's a pretty good variety of food here but far more important...There we were in a dead quiet town where every shop seemed to close by 7 on Friday night. Horrible for shopping-mad Aunty! Then at 9pm, magic happened...Live band starts belting rock ballads in English, Malay and Indonesian. Everything tasted even better after that... especially the fresh...
