One of the few supper spots in Ipoh that is open till after midnight, and is not mamak food.

Wide variety of foods to choose from, including from neighbouring hawkers to deliver the food to you where you sit. But drinks must be ordered from the shop you sit in front of.

I ordered the dry pan mee which was decent for RM6.50. Noodles were well cooked, not too soft I guess. Price wise, ok la it’s one of the less expensive food options there at this hour.

I don’t know if it’s because the seatings are a street and not in the shop area, there is a lot of litter and sauce spills on the ground around the tables and seats which is pretty unsightly considering I’m about to eat. I’m not ok with looking at other people’s food spills and wet tissues strewn on the ground. It puts me off.

If not because I had a friend with me and bringing them around Ipoh for food, I probably would not come here again to dine in.

Worst Claypot Chicken Rice Experience

I ordered a small claypot chicken rice for RM12, and it was completely inedible. It didn’t taste anything like proper claypot chicken rice—the chicken was undercooked, and the rice was burnt. Since I took take away, I had no option to return and ask for a refund.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this was unacceptable. Customers are paying for a decent meal—not expecting five-star quality, but at the very least, properly cooked food.

To make things worse, the customer service was just as bad. When I approached the staff to place an order, they completely ignored me instead of politely acknowledging my presence or asking me to wait. That kind of attitude is unprofessional and rude.

Ordered claypot chicken rice. It was the most horrible claypot chicken rice I have ever had. It was so bad. The chicken was undercooked, the whole thing smelt burnt.
