A Refreshing Escape: My Review of Chagee @ Kota Damansara Stepping into Chagee in Kota Damansara feels like a breath of fresh air amidst the bustling city. This tea house truly offers a delightful experience for anyone looking to enjoy quality tea in a comfortable setting. The ambiance here is wonderfully calm and inviting. The decor is modern with a touch of traditional Chinese aesthetics, creating a serene space that's perfect for a quick break, catching up with friends, or even getting some work done. It's clean, well-maintained, and the lighting is just right – not too bright, not too dim. Now, for the main event: the tea! Chagee is known for its fresh milk teas, and they certainly live up to the hype. I've tried a few of their popular drinks, and they consistently impress with their balanced flavors and fragrant notes. My go-to is usually the White Peach Oolong Fresh Milk Tea – the subtle sweetness of peach really complements the robust oolong, creating a creamy yet refreshing drink that isn't overly sweet. Another fantastic option is the Da Hong Pao Fresh Milk Tea, which offers a bolder, more aromatic tea experience that's incredibly satisfying. The quality of the tea leaves is evident in every sip, and the milk is always fresh and creamy. While the prices might be a tad higher than your average bubble tea shop, the superior quality of ingredients and the overall experience make it entirely worth it. You're paying for a premium tea experience, and Chagee delivers on that promise. ✨ Highlights You Shouldn't Miss: White Peach Oolong Fresh Milk Tea: A delicate and fragrant blend, perfect for those who enjoy a hint of sweetness. Da Hong Pao Fresh Milk Tea: For tea purists, this offers a rich and authentic tea flavor. Relaxing Ambiance: Ideal for unwinding or a quiet chat. Freshly Brewed Tea: The difference in quality is noticeable and truly enjoyable. In summary, Chagee @ Kota Damansara is a must-visit for any tea lover. Whether you're a connoisseur or just looking for a refreshing and well-made beverage, you'll find something to love here. It’s a wonderful spot to escape the heat and enjoy a moment of tranquility with a delicious cup of tea. I highly...
Read moreService : Bad Staff Attitude : Bad coz unable to handle incident and customer feedback
We made our order and waited for 15-20 mins and our drinks were not ready and no update from any of the staffs.
We checked at the counter and a staff told us no ice and it's on the way. But when will it arrive? The staffs had no idea but we can't wait forever as we were in a rush too to pick up our child from tuition centre.
We provided our feedback that they can't keep the customers waiting without informing customers and they don't even have an estimate time when the ice will arrive and they don't have a backup plan (example get some ice elsewhere first).
We asked to cancel order and refund since we didn't know when the ice will arrive.
All the time we didn't receive any apology from the staff and when we provided our feedback one of the staff kept quiet (still no apology), show her black face even when we asked to cancel our order and refund.
Then a jug of ice appeared and the staff was banging here and there loudly to prepare our drinks. 🙄 That's how we felt and what we saw, and the staff didn't even have the custody to ask for our order no nicely, still her very black face.
The service and attitude were bad and if you are in service line and if you can't handle incident and customer feedback then you are not suitable to be in service line that require you to face customers.
I hope Chagee KD mgt will do something to improve their...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at the Chagee Kota Damansara outlet. The staff seemed poorly trained, especially when it was our turn to order. The staff member accidentally keyed in 12 cups instead of our order and had to cancel and re-enter it 2-3 times. While we were waiting, Shopee orders kept coming in, which I believe contributed to the delay.
We ended up waiting for at least 25 minutes for our drinks. Despite asking at the counter multiple times, we were just told to wait. When I asked again, a Malay staff member told us that the lemon drink required a longer wait, but this should have been communicated when we ordered. She simply apologized, but it didn’t address the long wait.
Eventually, we got our drinks, but I noticed several riders were also waiting. One rider even raised his voice, frustrated by the long wait, and mentioned they should find another rider because of the poor service.
As for the drink, I ordered the Ceylon Lemon Black Tea, and to be honest, it just tasted like regular iced lemon tea. I was expecting something more unique given the price and brand reputation.
Please improve the training and efficiency of your staff to avoid...
