I came on Friday early evening, where there isn't much customers at that time. I ordered smoky pork belly, a fried pork rice, and a honey kebab. I must say I'm truly disappointed to all the food I ordered. All food were serve at warm/room temperature on the surface, but cold on the inside, all served within 5 minutes of order, which is likely all of them were precooked and put in microwave prior to serving. The price of the food is not cheap, so I do expect food to be serve freshly cooked. The fried pork was very chewy, which is not what I would expect it to be. Honey kebab was cold in the inside of the meat the moment I took a bite and it was not tender at all. Worst food of all, smoked pork belly. No element of smokiness at all. Instead it came out as a Chinese braised pork known as "dong bo rou". I have confirmed with the waiter and yes that was the food meant to be in the menu. I'm fine with braised pork, but if I order a smoked pork belly, I should get what I ordered. However the braised pork was very poorly done, the adipose tissue on the meat was so chewy, and cold when I took a bite. Another clear evidence of precook meat and microwave upon serving disregard the food quality. All of these are not worth the price to my opinion. Only good part of the food is the chili sauce and the satay sauce. Nothing else. Service as soso, I was seated on the second floor, there was no way to call for a waiter as all of them are at ground floor, to call for waiter you have to walk down the stairs and look for them. Big inconvenience. Attitude of waiter . They welcome with a smile. But while upon listening to my feedback when I paid for the food, the reply from the cashier was " sorry we have served the food" Environment. Very difficult to find parking . Overall 1 star. Not recommended Will not come again.

First visit. Tuesday night. Amazing food. Service was prompt. The restaurant has a good vibe with interesting decor. Just that ground floor indoor seating can be a bit warm with occasional bugs here and there. Food portion was good. Served warm. Tasty. Drinks were nice. Will come back again to try the other items on menu. ********* Addendum. Came here again for the second time in a week this time on a Friday night. And was rather disappointed this time with the food. The slow smoked pork belly was nothing like what we imagined. It’s more like Chinese style braised pork than actual smoked pork. The skin and fat was soft but still gelatinous and has a smell. Not the type that immediately melts in your mouth. It was cold as well. The food was served immediately and we wonder if all of these had been prepared in advanced and just reheated upon order. The kebab was alright. Pork slightly overcooked and not as tender to our liking. The babi gerpek - over fried but at least the sambal chilli was nice. I hope they can be more consistent in their quality. And serve actual hot and freshly prepared meals.

Stopped by for drink on rainy Saturday evening after dinner, and we were surprised to learn they have happy hours from 10PM till closing: 2 for 1 cocktails (only some, but it includes Long Island Iced Tea, so I was happy). We try the signature pork belly just as snack to keep company with the drinks, and I must say it was pretty good. You can the BBQ outside where they do them, but a bit too fat for my taste. The Long Island Iced Tea by the way were OK, but someone I didn’t feel the kick right away. I found the Watermelon Bubblegum a bit too peachy and sweet for my taste. The Tropical Fusion Fizz was drinkable and refreshing, but light on the booze for my taste. I could come back to try some items on the menu, and enjoy the 2 for 1 cocktails.

This place was a totally unexpected fine. We were planning to walk to Chinatown from the hotel for dinner. And while walking past this place, we saw a bbq grill and something tantalisingly smoky hit our senses. We checked out the menu and decided to give it a try. Turned out to be a fantastic decision. We ordered the coleslaw, sambal midin, salad with egg, half platter grill for 2. We enjoyed the coleslaw and salad. The salad uses a light lemon dressing which is very refreshing. The revelation is the midin, which is amazingly tasty and goes very well with steamed rice. I could have just eaten the midin with rice. It’s that good!

The grilled meat (chicken, pork belly and lamb) is so flavourful and smoky. The sambal Chili that accompanies the meat complements it beautifully, though I am not keen on the sweet sauce dip. The meat is tender, especially the chicken, and I have to say it’s probably the best Bbq chicken I have ever had (at least compared to what I had in Singapore).

Best of all, the bill, inclusive of drinks, is rather reasonable. (Caveat: by Singapore standard, it’s amazingly reasonable!) I hope to return before we leave Kuching. I can’t recommend this place more. The food is...

I won’t even touch on their food because they top their fries with cheese?? and literally don’t even have a single vegan or vegetarian main in the year of our lord 2025 😔 Lowkey embarrassing, giving climate crisis really 😮‍💨

…but people have good things to say, I guess 🤷‍♀️

That said, their drink selection is top tier 👌 Honestly you won’t get Guinness so consistently well poured anywhere else 🤤 Oh and their whisky selection too is absolutely fantastic! 🥃

Seriously, they serve Octomore, Arran, and Tamdhu, just to name a few 🙌 I only have good to say of their cocktails too 🍹 The pricing is incredible reasonable and you’re guaranteed to have your socks blown off 🌬️

If not for any of that either it’s at least a very decent place to hang with friends 🤗 The atmosphere is lovely and surprisingly while being located right next to traffic it isn’t too loud or warm in the evenings. Their music is always tasteful and never too loud so you can have a good time without anyone ever feeling left out — even with crowds of 10 or more 😇

Between all that and the lovely staff, it’s definitely a thumbs...
