I have been a loyal customer of Big Singh Chapati for several years now and I have eaten in all your 3 branches, but my visit to your Bandar Puteri, Puchong branch last week was the worst experience ever! I paid RM55 for lunch, for a single person and hated every bit of it. I ordered sardin masala which was about RM20++. The only problem with the Sardin Masala was there was no Masala! No salt, no garlic, no onions, absolutely nothing. I have been to this branch several times and I notice that the food at this branch is pretty bland compared to the other branches. Your staff admitted to me that they cater to the Chinese crowd taste buds since majority of the customers here are chinese. But I was told by your staff that if I wanted my food to be spicy, I could request for it. So I did request for a spicier Sardin Masala but what I got was the worst sardin masala I have ever eaten in my life. Infact, it was the worst sardin dish ever! Your staff offered to take it back to the kitchen to modify it, but I refused to allow her to do that because I always dont trust the kitchen staff to "Modify" my dish for the fear they might add "some unwanted modification" to the dish. Anyway, this sardin masala was unsalvageable! Ate very little of it and abandoned the rest (please refer picture). I have always given your restaurants the benefit of a doubt. There were multiple times I was disappointed but always supported you nevertheless but this time I vouch to never go back to your restaurants again!!!

I have always recommended your restaurants to my family and friends, and brought many people there.

I have to admit that you make the worst Butter Chicken. I tried it once in the Subang Jaya branch and never ordered it again. I ordered Lahori Chicken in your TTDI branch once and the chicken pieces were all bones. Never ordered these dishes again.

If you want to cater to the Chinese crowd who know nothing about Punjabi food, then by all means go ahead. They treat your restaurant like any Mamak Joint and always order cheese naan and briyani.........which is hilarious to me. For someone who is a punjabi (me), your food is not even close to any authentic Punjabi food. Its tasteless! And Punjabi food is faaaar from being tasteless. Its about time you gave your restaurant a Chinese name.

And.............You need to sack your cook in the Bandar Puteri Puchong branch! He cooks terrible dishes, all of them. Not a single dish in that branch ever tasted good.

Your Pani Puri has deteriorated so much in...

Well honestly, this restaurant is a personal favourite for my family and I We had come to enjoy the delicacies provided by this restaurant for a few times, and for each time, the food did not disappoint We had come to this restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and through these few times of enjoying the food, a few of them stood out to me Well firstly is the Palak Paneer, this is my personal, absolute favourite that will be ordered with each visit. It is a dish with blended spinach and some other greeneries topped with cottage cheese in it. The green sauce made from spinach is absolutely delicious and delightful, it can be spread and eaten with any of the dishes provided by the restaurant. It gives a wonderful mouth feel while still not dulling out the original taste of the dish. As for the cottage cheese, it has the mouth feel of tofu, with a hint of cheese inside of it. Mixed with the sauce, it brings out the best of both of their tastes, and so, I really recommend trying this out the next time you visit! I promise it will not disappoint As for the drinks, it was introduced to me by my mother so I hoped to try it out with her. And that, was the best decision I've ever made. It is the Masala Chai. It has a sweet smell and taste of herbs and spices and is a special delicacy that isn't replicable by other restaurants. After trying it for the first time, it always leave you wanting for more each time. It's definitely one of the best on the menu Of course at the end these are all just my own preference – it might not suit you as much but still you have my total confidence that you can find your favourite(s) in this restaurant! It is definitely worth a try and who knows, maybe you might love it too Overall the service is great, the staffs are very welcoming and the manager is very kind and will check up on you about the food and how you are enjoying it so far. The food is also served in a timely manner so you won't need to wait too long just to consume your food And so I give you my total confidence of five stars I really hope you would...

Big Singh Chapati @ Puchong

This is my third visit in the month of January. If you're craving authentic Punjabi flavors, Big Singh Chapati is a must-visit. From the moment you step inside, the warm, inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a truly delightful culinary experience. The aroma of freshly baked chapatis and sizzling tandoori chicken greets you, promising a meal that will satisfy both your hunger and your taste buds. You can even watch the chapatis being made fresh right when you enter the shop.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the chapati. Soft, perfectly round, and lightly charred, these chapatis are made fresh to order, giving each bite a warm, wholesome feel. Whether you opt for the classic chapati or pair it with a rich curry, you can taste the quality and care put into every flatbread.

The tandoori chicken is another standout. Marinated in a blend of traditional Punjabi spices, it's cooked to perfection in the tandoor, giving it a smoky, tender texture that's bursting with flavor. The crispy exterior and juicy interior make it a crowd favorite.

The Punjabi Set Meal is a hearty and fulfilling option, featuring a well-rounded combination of a dish (veg or non-veg), dal, rice or chapati, and the sweet of the day. Each component complements the others, with the dal's earthy richness and the dishes spiced to perfection.

Don't leave without trying their Punjabi tea (made with fresh milk), a fragrant and strong brew that perfectly complements the meal. You could also try the Ginger Tea or Badam Milk for a delightful twist.

Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a full meal, Big Singh Chapati delivers authentic, comforting Punjabi cuisine in a cozy setting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a true taste of Punjab!

The waiter was attentive and helpful during the ordering process, and the food was served quickly.

We were also treated to a complimentary dessert, as well as a laddu that my...

My brother introduced this place to me. The place is clean and well-ventilated. More like a restaurant than your regular mamak or indian food restaurant. Ordered the vegetable pakora, palak paneer, mutton, dhal tadka, cheese naan and aloo prata. 🧀 Cheese naan and dhal tadka was average. Could be more fragrant if it was a little buttered. Absolutely loved the aloo prata! It was fragrant and had a somewhat smoky flavour to it. The same goes for the palak paneer and the cheese in it, thick, fragrant and so generous. It goes so well with the aloo prata. ABSOLUTE FLAVOUR PARTY IN THE MOUTH! 🤯😋🤤 Constructive critisim - (1) the dhal tadka should be given free lah, it is just a regular dhal kan? There's no wow factor there or additional expensive ingredients in it. (2) maybe this is just me, but I would like the spices in the vegetable pakora to be toned down a little. Too much spices, I can barely taste the vegetable. LAST BUT NOT LEAST - Would I Return? 💯 Of course! Went back there the next week and a couple more times more. Maine's Rating - 8.5/10
