Service very bad. No one serve us after we have seated. I have to take the menu myself. The person at the counter saw me but was busy collecting money. He didn’t even come serve us after he’s done. Another two staff busy cleaning the table. They should have serve us first since it’s not even packed, only 5 tables of customer and there is still lots table available. Finally someone came and pass me the order chit. I even have to pass my order to the counter myself as I feel frustrated waving my hand numerous time but no one bothers. When the lalapot is being served, the staff didn’t say anything and just leave after placing it onto the table. Didn’t mention need to cook how long etc. We cook ourself and top up the soup ourself afterward. The sauce counter is almost empty. Even the 2 big bottle of xiao xing wine is empty, soy sauce is empty. I wonder how long they refill them once. All I can see the staff is very hardworking cleaning the table, wiping the tableware etc instead of serving customers. Don’t feel they are friendly too no smile at all. Food is fresh and taste ok but don’t worth the price and I don’t like their service. Don’t feel welcomed at all. Will not come again. I believe there’s other lalapot restaurant option around which provide better food and service. The good thing is they open til 12am...
Read moreI'm the regular to this lala hotpot shop!😊‼️ I like thirst service and the staff are friendly. When the waiter knew we are taking video of how they cook the hotpot, he will purposely put a little more wine so that the fire looks amazing"happening"😅. Lala is fresh. Food is fresh too. The soup is super good for me. I will suggest to take put extra wine when hotpot first boiled. And keep adding wine and fried garlic to the soup when you add on soup to hotpot. Thus can maintain the taste of soup. I will always sit outside the shop so that it's won't b too "hot" compare to sit in the shop. Imagine you are one if many hotpot in the soace where the heats in the shop is high. They have many variety of sauce that you can mix matched according to your preference. I personally like the sesame sauce (even though not the best) + their recipe of chili sauce+ raw garlic and fried garlic. You can always enjoy 10% of if you make the reservation in eatigo app. If you're spending at about rm200, they will give you a free one lala voucher. Parking here is a challenge during noon. But it's quite easy to have the parking in...
Read moreMy first time here trying the lala aka clams ginger soup since the review was good. Ordered the lala ginger soup 🫕 and 🍚 only since I was alone and the Person-incharge (PIC) agreed without any hesitation. I've tasted the charcoal stove cooking before last year at 1 of the shops in Kuchai Lama, KL and now here in Puchong. The former tasted much better for almost the same price. Lala soup base 🫕 RM 38 & 🍚 RM 2.50. Total damage RM 44.95 including 5% & 6% tax. Quite steep for a simple solo meal. 😭Cooking was done over black charcoal stove right in front of me by a Myanmar worker. He seems professional at it. 👍🏻👨🏾🍳 The soup was of course boiling hot but it was too salty for me although lots of ginger were added in. The lala were HUGE and Clean but too chewy, I can't seem to swallow them at all. 😬🥵 I don't know why almost half of the lala were of the same texture i.e. chewy like bubble gum! 😭 Otherwise, friendly staff and PIC. Only 3 tables were occupied when I visited the place at about 8:30pm. I would suggest sitting outside for a cooler and windier option. Overall, it...
