Overall Experience Jin Xuan is one of the more well-known dim sum chains in Malaysia. The Puchong outlet is usually bustling, especially on weekends, which speaks volumes about its popularity—but also means you’ll likely face a wait. If you don't mind sitting along the corridor outside the restaurant, then the wait can be pretty short. Food Highlights Siew Mai & Har Gow: Juicy, meaty, and packed with fresh shrimp and has a nice crunch from water chestnuts. Crystal Shrimp Dumplings: Silky skin and generous filling. Salted egg and pork Congee: Surprisingly refined and tasted good. Chicken Feet: Tender, gelatinous, and rich in collagen. Shrimp Rice Rolls: Smooth and delicate, with a light soy dressing that doesn’t overpower. I also tried the crispy rice rolls with shrimps (the soy sauce is served separately) but preferred the original version. Egg tart ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tart was crispy and flaky. Just the right sweetness yum 😋

Chiam (Coffee mix tea) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best chiam I had. Good cuppa to wake my day up 👍

Chicken feet⭐⭐⭐⭐ OMG! Mind blown definitely one of the best chicken feet I had. Simple dish done well make wonderful memories

Siew Mai⭐⭐⭐⭐ Again another one of my best. 👍

Fried Carrot cake⭐⭐⭐⭐ Served hot and cake was soft. Filled with very generous shrimp topping and beanspouts

One of the "Famous" Dim Sum shops around Puchong Area, or even in Selangor. Just for the record it has a franchise in Taipan. For this Main branch in Puchong, the queue was reasonable when I went, the wait was not exactly too long. The food and dim sum here taste great, but not as exceptional as many food review websites reviewed. The Portion is pretty much standardised and similar to other Dim Sum shop around Selangor. Value wise, the price is acceptable, for a shop which is known to be authentic and famous. It is not exactly the cheapest, but generally reasonable for the food quality and restaurant ambience you get.
