Went there for gathering with colleagues on a weekday. The place is cosy
We had the RM 88 Angis beef buffet all you can eat set.
Good thing about the food is the meat and seafood are nice and fresh with exception to the tiger prawn where a few was not freah as the meat was mushy. The oyster was nice and its fresh though it is frozen oyster. My colleague like the oyster as well think it is fresh.
I would recommend the Angus beef, lamb (thick cut not smell), pork belly, pork jaw (however some dont like it as hard to bite), egg roll
Not so recommend : the oyster soup though a lot recommend it but don’t think its worth to try as the oyster used to cook the soup was only a few though we order the big pot. There were 5 of us 3 of is got to have 2 and remaining 2 each 1 only.
Bad thing about the place : Not Recommend for big group. We went with 5 people but were given a grill place so 4 get to grill while one waited for others to grill for him as it was not convenient for him to reach.
I wanted to go for a longer table with two grill but the staff was reluctant for us to sit there so I choose another table nearby as I understand we don’t have a lot of people to dine but end up the table was occupy by a 4 person diner at a later time.
Seriously the grill are good for 2-3 pax so everyone could eat because the meat are thick and some seafood like oyster and scallop need to cook together with the shell it took quite long to cook as well though the oyster are fast to cook on itself.
Hopefully the management can improve on the set up of grill table for big group else its really only good for small group 2-4 pax max. Then it may not be worth it for big group to take buffet selection as it take time to cook.
Another thing to mention the smoke suction did spill black oil when we started our grill but the staff manage to clean it though it wasted our effort a bit. The staff was nice to let us sit till 4.5hrs in the shop for chit chat but we stop order at 2hr...
Read moreThe overall dining experience was exceptional and left a lasting impression. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was evident — the owner is genuinely friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that sets the tone for the meal.
The quality of the food is remarkable. The meat, in particular, deserves special mention for its tenderness and juiciness. Each cut is prepared and grilled to perfection, delivering a rich and satisfying flavor with every bite. The use of high-quality charcoal is another highlight, as it retains heat for an extended period, ensuring consistent grilling without the need for frequent replacements.
Among the menu offerings, several dishes truly stood out. The ox tongue was delicately sliced and perfectly seasoned, offering a balance of texture and flavor that is difficult to achieve. The Angus beef belly was equally impressive — beautifully marbled, succulent, and packed with depth of taste. The sake oyster soup added a delightful contrast, delivering a warm, umami-rich broth that complemented the grilled items wonderfully.
While the dessert selection, particularly the ice cream, could benefit from some refinement to match the high standards set by the rest of the menu, this is a minor point in what was otherwise an outstanding culinary experience.
The restaurant’s layout also contributes significantly to the overall experience. The space is generous and thoughtfully designed, with tables positioned at a comfortable distance from each other to ensure privacy and a relaxed dining environment.
In summary, this establishment excels in quality, service, and ambiance. For anyone seeking a refined yet welcoming dining experience, it is a highly recommended destination. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu...
Read moreI am a customer that doesn’t think customers are always right. However, it’s my first incident that I lost control in a restaurant that charges a premium price but left their customers felt cheated. Indeed I really left with tears because it was meant to be a happy quick lunch to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday.
We ordered RM58++ buffet initially and upgraded to RM88++ due to beef options on a weekday that they also serve a RM 9.90 lunch set plan. Thus I understand they might not have trained their staffs about how to handle customers with care.
I ended up paying a bill that charged us extra RM20 (without being reminded), partially I admitted we over-estimated our appetite so we have decided to give up about 150g of meat (we ask to tabao so we don’t waste the food, I was intended to cook for my pet as fresh animal protein meal) but the staff said it’s a company policy that you can’t takeaway the food while they also can’t keep it back (so who’s intended to waste the food here? )
I have principles and I understand businesses are supposed to be profitable. However, this is not the way of making money on top of your high paying customers who paid RM220 for a quick 1.5hours buffet lunch. We started at 130pm and they closed at 3pm but willing to extend 30mins (for us to finish the food). Getting a table took me 10mins and paying bills took me 15mins. I have wasted 25mins of my life to pay for one of the worst restaurant experience that I ever had.
I wasn’t intended to leave a comment but for those who have high expectations or plan to have a decent meal , don’t mind to pay for more. You may decide and hope this can manage your expectations about having a meal in the restaurant. I enjoyed their beef to be fair but would I visit it for it...
