K BBQ — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Stuck at peak hour jam so thought walk around Sunway Geo to get dinner. Walk pass this shop and saw the menu, thought to give it a try as I have never had a bad Korean BBQ even if I simply pick a shop. But this one is exception. I am normally very cincai with food but this time I really cannot. I chose buffet dinner the price similar to Sxx Mxz Exx.

Service: All the side dishes are self service. No problem with that as many places also same. The staff came to grill the meat for us, surprise to have ppl grill the meat. But first round, the meat took ages to cook, only to realise the gas is low. After change gas, she left the fire on high and left... Meat all overcooked although I helped to serve myself.

Food: The Meat are tough, not very fresh. U know, that kind of strong pork taste... And not sure if it is because of affected mood, all the meat is just so hard to swallow. All side dishes are really not appealing except Kimchi still acceptable. Lettuce are not all properly washed.

Environment: It was really hot as if the aircond is not working. Luckily we have a Midea stand fan beside.. At peak hour to realise it was really quiet at this place, no one came. Checked review and I understand why.

Just too much to improve if want the business...

Gave this restaurant a try for a late lunch-dinner, attracted by its Korean BBQ buffet. There are plenty of side dishes and they’re all self-service. What caught me off guard was the staff offering to help grill the pork 🤭. Additionally, there’s some instant ramen that you have to cook yourself too. The price, around 30 plus, feels reasonable, especially considering the unlimited refills on side dishes, ramen, and meat. Just a quick heads up: while refills are aplenty, mineral water and drinks aren't included in the buffet; you'll need to place separate orders. I also can't believe that the owner is Korean... All bad side dishes (only kimchi was fine though) and dirty table / uncomfy chair

above all, i had pork soup but it was just like just sliced pork and hot water. That's it.

How come does Korean owner operate the restaurant like this way even though lot of korean stay around and visit Sunway Geo often. Or just gave up managing/operating the restaurant?

I never come here again somehow, even if i would be starved. It was just...
