Rathaa Curry House — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

We were looking for lunch and we found this place. The place was packed during lunch. Service was really bad as clearly staff are suffering to do their regular duties. They are not focussed on one thing. They were everywhere. We ordered banana leaf and some of us took lesser vegetables that came with the banana leaf. I have ordered some fried fish such as Indian mackerel and the silver whiting fish. The food was very normal in taste and nothing to shout about. The place was very clean which is one of the best thing. I was shocked when the bill came to RM146. The Indian mackerel was charged RM10 and silver whiting was RM8 per fish. Ridiculous pricing for sure for the whiting fish. We asked the cashier why there is a difference on the banana leaf pricing and he mentioned that that's our practice here. Our regular customers know this too. That was unacceptable as this was our first time there and we are not sure on the pricing. I know it's favourable for the customers but it could be nicely told and stated somewhere. Please do something on the pricing and also back up your service staff. I don’t think it deserve to have one star. If can rate without a star, it will be more suitable. This restaurant really bad service! The worker are not efficient to serve the customer well or take order. Food quality was too bad. The curries are NOT HOT SERVED. Even the dishes area curries and dishes are NOT HOT AT ALL!!! Want to take some other dishes curry, they don’t allow. You can tell and say that need to serve for whole not only the curry. I’m okay if you explain properly and I’m willing to pay. But you didn’t explain well, and seems like you’re not satisfied what we tell and the worker (who manage the cashier) comes over and like want to have arguments with us. If you are the owner, you cannot accept customer complain, then I guess your restaurant could be getting worse and worse! Since you’re a CURRY HOUSE, make sure your CURRY is HOT SERVED NOT COLD SERVED! Make sure your workers are trained well! Fyi, I AM NOT VISIT ANYMORE! Not first but last! Feels like eating in a normal mamak also nicer than eating here. Service also better. The price also cheaper....

This is the first and last time I’ll go and eat this place! Today I went to had breakfast at this place to tried out the food, so when the food was served we were not really satisfied with the food because the curry that was served is cooled. It’s like all the food being served the us tasted like an overnight dishes. At first I didn’t take it seriously so I told one of the staff (who I supposed is the supervisor) to bring curry they keep insisted that curry is on the serving tray so I just went to the food display counter to get myself and the staff told me that I can only take chicken curry and fish curry ,other curry I cannot take! I was so speechless with how the staff treated me then a guy who I assumed to be the supervisor talk as though I was at fault! EXCUSE ME I’M PAYING FOR THE FOOD I DONT COME TO EAT FOR FREE!
