I rarely give 1* reviews, however we really did not feel welcome here. When we entered we were given a table, then were asked to leave that spot, because we were no member of ' the club '. Then we went to the table and given a menu, it took about 20 minutes for the staff to come back, while doing absolutely nothing at the bar. Then they came to get the order and gave us the Cisk pint rather quickly. However the food took forever to come, I'm sure it was about 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The food [ English Breakfast full ] was supposed to come with an orange juice, which was not given to us, only after mentioning it twice. The food was good tho. Then later a friend joined, waved multiple times at the staff, they acknowledged it, but did not come. Then when paying I went in to do the payment and the employee charged me an amount, I asked what the charges were, she said ' no idea, just put an amount '. Very weird it was.. The place and location has high potential, however they are not living up to the potential, AT ALL.

Was lucky to celebrate my birthday at this eatery with a terrace over Marsamxetto Harbour with a beautiful view of Valletta. The evening breeze in the middle of a hot week was also a nice bonus, to go with the fine service and pleasant experience. Started off with some Aperol Spritz, and decided to share the fried goat’s cheese, tuna tartare and neonati fish cakes - great choices for all concerned. For mains we had the Spigola al Sale, the ravioli with lobster and prawns, plus the Fritto Misto - all highly recommended. Having overeaten, we could only afford one sweet between us …& sweet it was - a fine ending with Creme Brûlée. Memorable evening and not over the top when it comes to cost.

We started with cocktails and ordered the grilled brie as a starter which was good. Then I had the breaded chicken and parma; it was ok, pitty it was salty. The portion of potatoes and carrots (on the menu it said it comes with vegetables) was small. We also had a fillet with red wine jus. The sauce arrived late and the fillet had gone cold. We made the waiter aware and offered us coffee on the house. As a dessert I had the apple and berry crumble which was good. The service was slow altough the restaurant was not busy (during the week). Pitty as the restaurant has a fantastic view. Edit: Wednesday 7th August 2019 for dinner

Terribly disappointed! We had been many times and we were always happy and recommended it to many other people.Today we went and we were VE RY disappointed with the attitude of the staff. We had been looking forward to having a lovely evening with delicious food. We booked a table outside for 6,30 pm. We were the first clients and we asked for a preferred table by the sea. There were about 8 empty tables by the sea but we were told we could not sit there as they had been booked before us. So we were put on a corner table next to the adjoining restaurant. Still ok but as we really wished to sit on the sea front tables why deny us? By the time we had finished our dinner 5 of those tables were still vacant. This shows the respect we had from the main waiter, who was more interested in keeping them available rather than trying to make us happy! Idiotic behaviour. And when we ordered, we specifically said not to rush with the main course. We couldn’t believe that we hadn’t yet finished our starters and our main course fish arrived! Ok we sorted it out again . When we left no words from any waiter. No sorry, no goodbye, nada. When everything is fine there the staff are polite and cheerful but if there is a problem, they show a very arrogant attitude. It will be a long while before they see us...

Not a good experience. Extremely limited menu. 3 of us went. None of us could find anything we actually wanted to eat, and my dad is the least fussy person normally! We were going to leave but were settled and starving and didnt want to cause a fuss. 3rd person was veggie and had a choice of just 2 meals on the menu,(one which was basically pasta with tomatoes!, which is pathetic in a restaurant) Service was pretty miserable. None of servers were friendly or cheerful. No drinks menu, so we had to guess and keep asking, until I felt so uncomfortable I just settled for something I didnt even want! Starter was burnt. They didn't check on us at any point to ask if we wanted anything else, or if everything was good. They just grabbed empty glasses/ plates on their way past without even asking if we were finished ,which was rude. At one point my dad was still kind of eating, and they just took the plate! They didn't ask if we wanted dessert. We just asked for bill and left. Everything was expensive also, and not worth the money. The venue was clean and had lovely view. Everything else was negative. Would not consider eating here ever again, and normally I'm not that fussy about food or service as long as venue is nice, but this place was just not a...
