Beautiful and very peaceful garden - not many people there at all.
Pretty much panoramic views, from the Triton fountain and Floriana round to Valletta’s famous dome, including views of Sliema and Manoel Island & fort. The look-out towers are not accessible to the public, but it’s nice to get up close to them anyway. There are also some canons, and it’s pretty impressive just seeing how thick the city walls are. Plenty of benches and there is a cafe/bar (which was closed on the Sunday we visited).

The garden offers views of Floriana, Msida, Sliema, and Manoel Island. Read moreThe Hastings Garden in Malta is a very large multi-level park with small garden areas throughout and trees all around the entire park.
Views of the Triton Fountain and the surrounding square can be seen from one end of the park while the city of Silema can be viewed from the other end.
There is a small fountain in the middle of the lower level with benches to enjoy the views. A cafe is nestled in the middle of the park offering coffees and beers along with some small pastries.
The park is free to enter and a quiet place to rest before touring the city...
