Wow, what an experience. A beautiful fusion of High-Tech and Rich History. Amazing.
This cinema should ideally be the starting point of your Maltese adventure.
I got immersed into a virtual reality walk-through of Malta's past and present. It was like a chopper cruise of the islands, like drone footages of Malta's finest locations, together with reliving the history of the legends. Brilliant!
This is the smartest way to start your Malta experience.
By the time I got through the cinema show, I knew exactly what to do in Malta and where to visit or not.
There are historic arts and souvenir pieces displayed at the gallery. The original legendary Maltese goddess figurines are abundantly displayed for souvenir picks. The local Maltese soap and stickers as well.
This place seems popular with tourists.

Read moreA 20 minute overview of the history of Malta in a 5D environment. It is a fair place to start your understanding about Malta but being only 20 minutes they obviously can't go into detail. The 5D experience was a laugh and a fun bonus. It is fair to say that the auditorium did smell musty but that is to be expected if they're spraying water many times a day. Free drinks available for you to help yourself prior to the screening. Clean toilets. They advise not suitable for pregnant women or people with a bad back, however, there are seats which don't move. We got free tickets when we booked our holiday but I would have been disappointed if I'd have paid €45 for five people, I don't think that it was worth that. For children it was probably cheaper and they'd more than likely enjoy it. Don't miss taking photo of yourself as a knight opposite the drink station. Really helpful and...
Read moreThis was included in a walking tour, and having done a number of these types of attractions in other cities across the world, I had a bit of an idea of what to expect.
First - there was a very musty smell that is probably due to the sprayers, which mostly didn’t work (I didn’t get the full experience)
Second - the story in the movie could have been expanded upon slightly to further detail out a number of defining points of Malta history…
But…. It wasn’t all bad. I actually chuckled through most of it. It was produced in the 2000s from the looks of it, and there are old school CGI animations of the historical scenes. The chairs move oddly out of sync from the falcon, and omg, the falcon storyline in general is just so funny.
I’m not sure I’d mark this as a must-see in Valletta, but I did learn a little and...
