Wow, what an experience. A beautiful fusion of High-Tech and Rich History. Amazing.

This cinema should ideally be the starting point of your Maltese adventure.

I got immersed into a virtual reality walk-through of Malta's past and present. It was like a chopper cruise of the islands, like drone footages of Malta's finest locations, together with reliving the history of the legends. Brilliant!

This is the smartest way to start your Malta experience.

By the time I got through the cinema show, I knew exactly what to do in Malta and where to visit or not.

There are historic arts and souvenir pieces displayed at the gallery. The original legendary Maltese goddess figurines are abundantly displayed for souvenir picks. The local Maltese soap and stickers as well.

This place seems popular with tourists.

A 20 minute overview of the history of Malta in a 5D environment. It is a fair place to start your understanding about Malta but being only 20 minutes they obviously can't go into detail. The 5D experience was a laugh and a fun bonus. It is fair to say that the auditorium did smell musty but that is to be expected if they're spraying water many times a day. Free drinks available for you to help yourself prior to the screening. Clean toilets. They advise not suitable for pregnant women or people with a bad back, however, there are seats which don't move. We got free tickets when we booked our holiday but I would have been disappointed if I'd have paid €45 for five people, I don't think that it was worth that. For children it was probably cheaper and they'd more than likely enjoy it. Don't miss taking photo of yourself as a knight opposite the drink station. Really helpful and...

This was included in a walking tour, and having done a number of these types of attractions in other cities across the world, I had a bit of an idea of what to expect.

First - there was a very musty smell that is probably due to the sprayers, which mostly didn’t work (I didn’t get the full experience)

Second - the story in the movie could have been expanded upon slightly to further detail out a number of defining points of Malta history…

But…. It wasn’t all bad. I actually chuckled through most of it. It was produced in the 2000s from the looks of it, and there are old school CGI animations of the historical scenes. The chairs move oddly out of sync from the falcon, and omg, the falcon storyline in general is just so funny.

I’m not sure I’d mark this as a must-see in Valletta, but I did learn a little and...

Terrible, been there with a friend, she cried. The animations were horrifying and gave you a headache simply watching. You were bombed, there was a weird badly animated bird, some kid being sucked into a golden bird thing and an ugly man. Suddenly it was freezing and the seats were shaking and there were lights, which scared the hell out of us and our headphones were only working on one ear. My friend was crying the whole way home. We were both dizzy and we were close to vomiting. And all of that torture for 10€.

I purchased the Valletta ticket which gave access to key museums and as a bonus, the Malta 5D experience for 20 euros for students (25 euros for adults). I didn’t have the highest of expectations, but was pleasantly surprised by the animations and brief history of Malta and its islands. Although some of it is quite excessively dramatic, I’d recommend it for kids. But whether I’d pay the full 9 euros for it, I’m undecided. As a plus, they did have free soft drinks whilst you wait and after the cinema experience.

Malta is a country with rich history. I was able to visit the two of the three islands:Malta and Gozo. City tour, and historical tour with guide. Visited the archaeological museum, Botanical garden, Golden Beach, Blue Groto,Hagar Qim Temples, Caves and one of the highlights of my experience in Malta was visiting the Pop-eye Village. It was worth it especially inviting for children to visit this attractive Fun Park. It is located at Anchor Bay.
