Jubilee Cafe in Valletta is a place with a history that began in 1998 on the island of Gozo, and two years later, it continued in the capital of Malta.

The food here is a true bistro classic. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from light snacks and soups to pastas, hot meals, and exquisite desserts. Special attention is paid to the freshness of ingredients, balanced flavors, and options for vegetarians, vegans, and those on a gluten-free diet.

A standout dish is the Moqli fit-Tewm u s-Saghtar rabbit, pan-fried with garlic, white wine, and thyme. Served with crispy baked potatoes and Xwejni sea salt, this dish is a true culinary masterpiece. We also tried the pasta with chicken liver — the rich flavor and perfectly cooked ingredients leave no doubt about the chef’s skill.

The interior of Jubilee is another reason to visit. Inspired by European bistros of the 1920s and 1930s, it features wooden panels, brass light fixtures, and vintage details that create a stylish yet relaxing atmosphere. It’s a comfortable setting for both a business lunch and a romantic dinner.

The drinks are also a highlight: rich coffee and an excellent whiskey collection at affordable prices. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy delicious food in a cozy atmosphere, definitely visit Jubilee — you won’t be disappointed!

I don’t usually write reviews, but after visiting this restaurant I felt I really had to. From the moment I stepped inside, I loved the atmosphere — the decorations are so unique, warm, and full of character. Everything is so clean and well taken care of, it truly feels like a place made with love.

What touched me the most was the service. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, there was only one waiter, Ram, serving everyone. Yet he never seemed rushed. He was so kind, attentive, and always smiling. He looked after every single table, making sure no one was left waiting, and he made me feel very welcome. It honestly felt like he cared about every guest, which made the whole experience special for me.

The food was absolutely delicious — I especially enjoyed the deep-fried calamari and the rabbit stew, both full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were generous, and I left feeling happy and satisfied.

On top of that, the soft music in the background created such a peaceful and cozy mood, the kind of place where you just want to sit a little longer and enjoy.

This visit really touched my heart because it wasn’t just about good food, it was about the feeling of being cared for. Thank you, Ram, for your kindness and wonderful service. I will definitely remember this...

Cafe Jubilee is a charming and friendly spot that leaves a lasting impression. From the moment you walk in, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff make you feel right at home.

I ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, and it was more than just good—it was outstanding! The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise sauce was creamy and well-balanced, and the smoked salmon added a delightful touch of richness. The dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better than expected.

The prices are reasonable, especially considering the prime location, which is often a factor that drives up costs elsewhere. At Cafe Jubilee, you feel like you’re getting real value for your money.

Overall, this cafe delivers an excellent dining experience with its delicious food, warm service ( khan is so kind and attentive and professional! ), and fair pricing. I’ll definitely be...

French style caffe in the heart of La Valletta that serves Maltese food and lots of VEGAN, GLUTEN FREE and VEGETARIAN options from early morning till late night. The food is great and the portions are big, went there for breakfast and dinner in different occasions and honestly can recommend all the dishes strongly. The green shakshuka and English breakfast are a must if you’re in town looking for a quiet place to start your day. The interior is fun with a lot of things hanging upside down from the ceiling (such as a whole table!) and a big bar at the end. The staff was equally fun and helpful, overall just a really good place.

Best experience in Malta! Definitely recommend the place: the food, atmosphere, decor, staff, prices - everything was really good. It was the cheapest bill I paid for a lunch/dinner in Malta, and the most tasty one. Tried the fried calamari as the starter - the portions is small sufficient only one person. The main dish- rabbit, as per the local receipt. Quite good, although fries wouldn’t be my choice as a side. The best local wine I tried, and the cheapest one. The decor it’s amazing, moving you to the ‘30s with the help of music in the background, as well. I would return when again in Malta.
