I went here with two of my friends, all of us female. The staff were all male. The server with thick black eyeliner and long black hair made us incredibly uncomfortable from the moment we walked in. When he sat us it felt like a huge inconvenience. I ordered the cocktail called “The Kiss by Gustav Klimt” to which this server made intense eye contact with me and very suggestively said “Kiss?”. I ignored him, clearly uncomfortable, he then came over leaning on a nearby table and tried to make conversation, as if he’d forgotten how he’d just spoke to us.

He then asked my friend to move her chair into the space between two tables which was not big enough for a chair to fit in. He held down her chair as she tried to move, and then was very visibly annoyed that she didn’t move. Saying “No!” Quite loudly and then said he was ‘just trying to make a path for him to walk though’, and stormed off.

The decorations were bizarre. Half were paintings, music related, and football memorabilia, and the other half were very vulgar and misogynistic depictions of women (so vulgar I am unable to post my review if I include images!!) Please take those down.

The cocktails themselves were actually delicious and I think reasonably priced. However, all of the cocktails based on famous paintings were gin- based except for two. Not great if you don’t like gin. The painting part of the cocktail looked great, but was very gummy.

The phone number on the website is the owners personal mobile number. I had to contact the bar and the owner, despite being on his holidays, was so accommodating and went above and beyond to help me.

Again, the cocktails were fantastic. This bar has so much potential! I think you should...

UPDATE: Due to the rude and arrogant nature of the owners response I’m downgrading the review to 2 stars. The way in which he responded really ought to tell you what kind of person this is.

There's a chance you discovered this place on social media due to its well-known eye-catching cocktail prints, but there's more to this place than meets the eye.

When you first arrive, you find yourself in a pleasant and welcoming space with a sizable collage of fine artwork and football memorabilia. I won't criticize the mashup even though I don't think it makes sense to have football and fine art together because it probably describes the bartender and his interests.

The service was prompt and polite. But when we got the menus, the owner insisted he wanted to explain the idea behind the bar, which was fine but didn't help us choose a cocktail based on our tastes (sweet, sour, bitter, etc.). He was adamant to emphasize that he makes the greatest ingredient selections and that no one else is as skilled at creating cocktails as he is.

Although I have nothing against pride in one's work, this insistence that "all the cocktails are the best choice" comes across as pretentious and patronising. It would be much better if he just let the cocktails speak for themselves.

Since the cocktail was named after the bar and should represent what he believes to be the "best," I chose the "Kamy" cocktail. Aside from the printed presentation, the €13.50 cocktail was unremarkable for the cost, and it didn't help that he boasted about it excessively at first.

All things considered, if you're curious, give it a shot. As for myself, I'll think about going back later to see if anything...

It’s truly unbelievable that this place has a 4.8 rating because the experience we had was awful and completely inconsistent with such a high score. We were treated with extreme disrespect, making it impossible to believe that so many positive reviews are genuine.

From the moment we arrived, the service was marked by negligence and a lack of basic courtesy. We ordered one drink each, intending to try them and decide if we wanted to stay. However, the waiter showed bad attitude from the start, refusing to take our order professionally or politely. Despite our attempts to explain what we wanted, he treated us rudely as if we were being unreasonable for requesting something that’s part of the service.

After much insistence, he reluctantly took the order, but it was evident he didn’t care. Unsurprisingly, when the drinks arrived, they were completely wrong. It felt intentional, as though he wanted to punish us for complaining.

Moreover, the environment, which seemingly has all the potential to be enjoyable, was entirely ruined by this unprofessional and hostile behavior. It’s regrettable that one single person, with a total lack of professionalism, can ruin the experience for an entire group.

If I could, I would give zero stars for the service because the experience wasn’t just disappointing; it was infuriating. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone seeking even a minimum level of respect and customer care. Such behavior not only damages the establishment’s reputation but also highlights the unpreparedness of those responsible for...

We always make it a point to visit the best cocktail bars in every city we travel to, and for my husband’s birthday, I chose this one based on the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to expectations. We ordered from the signature menu and specifically asked if the drinks were well-balanced and not too sweet. The staff assured us they were. However, when our cocktails arrived (strangely the waiter brought them one by one carried by the rim of the glass with both hands rather than holding stem), the first sip told us otherwise—they were overwhelmingly sweet, reminiscent of chewing gum rather than carefully crafted cocktails. As my husband is a mixologist (and he works in this field for 17 years) he knows what to expect from a well-balanced drink, and sadly, these fell short. Additionally, we noticed an interaction that felt unwelcoming—two guests who arrived after us were told to wait outside, we were just about to leave and offered to give them our seats. Overall, this place might be great for Instagram-worthy pictures, but if you’re looking for well crafted cocktails and a warm atmosphere, you may want to look elsewhere.
