Never come to this restaurant!!! Actually, I’m not a person who spends time writing reviews, but not in this case. It was December 25th Christmas, 5 pm. Just a few tables were occupied at the time, and we decided to ask about the possibility of having some drinks and dessert for our grandchildren. We are aware that some restaurants serve only food at lunch or dinner time. The waiter proposed us to chose a table and we were seated. Then the waitress (as we found out later - she was the owner’s wife - who cares?!) approached us and in a rude manner asked us to leave because they do not serve drinks and sweets. It would be ok if not her behavior and the fact that next to our table another couple was served with drinks only. We explained that her colleague was informed about our intention to have drinks only and he kindly proposed a table. After that she sent another waiter to get us out. The conversation with the owner was even worse. He said that the first waiter would be fired, that the waitress was his wife and that’s why she was his boss. No apologies or recognition of their internal fault/misunderstanding at all. All stuff involved including owner were tense and rude with rather high level of aggression. All of this in front of my wife and our grandchildren on Christmas. Of course, we left. Now, when I read a great number of negative reviews about that restaurant and their team, I could say we were lucky not to make an order, it could have gotten worse. In addition - it is not a clean place, some used cutlery and dishes were on the trays set up on the chairs waiting to be removed, and the hallway and kitchen itself are not suitable as regards to size and appliances to serve the number of tables outside as well as not clean. Clients would leave immediately if they saw the kitchen and chef. This restaurant survives because of its location and tourists only. I wonder if the authorities who licensed this restaurant read customers’ reviews or checked from time to time this place of ā€œdisasterā€. Definitely, not. Otherwise, this restaurant would be closed protecting customers’ rights. These people should learn a lesson - their salaries are paid off by their clients. Horrible service. Stay away...

Giving this place one star is generous. Do not eat here. I ordered the lamb cutlets 'medium rare' however when I cut into them, the meat was still completely rare and inedible. The fat on the cutlets was also not rendered down, which made the steaks unbelievably fatty and gross to eat. I sent the cutlets back with the waitress, who then argued with me about how the lamb was presented, saying that the dish was 'definitely' medium rare and that the lamb cutlets were 'supposed to be this way', referring to the fattiness. My re-cooked lamb arrived and the waitress continued to patronise, and give me sass, saying that what I probably meant to have ordered was my lamb cooked as 'medium, not medium rare'. I then responded saying that she was incorrect, and I know the difference between raw and medium rare lamb. Regardless though, I should not have been argued with by the waitress. Never have I had wait staff argue, give me attitude, and patronise me in such a manor. This behaviour unfortunately put me off my meal completely, and dampened the evening for me and fellow table guests. The rabbit was also overcooked and unpleasant to eat. Spend your...

Had a dinner with this restaurant and did order grilled chicken breast and ribeye, suddenly the food arrive and the chicken was good but my ribeye was not what i expected. I ordered medium rare and to my shock that it was rare close to raw. Did tried to speak with the waiter and explain what happened but he didnt bother to say sorry for what happened. He came back and said that it was medium rare and i told him i am working in a fine dining restaurant and im pretty sure i know about the temperatures of steaks. He came back to our table with their chef and i explained the same thing but they said it was medium rare. At the end of the conversation, both waiter and chef give me an attitude and didnt even apologize for what happened. Its funny how they treat their customer and the staff didnt know how to handle a complain. overall worst customer service...

A modestly priced restaurant with delicious food cooked with the freshest ingredients. Located al fresco in the heart of Valletta. Decor and cleanliness also lovely. The pasta is cooked al dente and the crudo & fish we picked was excellent. While waiting we we enjoyed 'caponata' and other Italian delights, courtesy of the chef. Don't miss the home made Tiramisu prepared by the owner's wife. If you appreciate good food, don't miss TaNadia. Don't be misled by some of the reviews which complain about having had to wait too long - the food is prepared fresh on order and portions are generous. I have no connection with this restaurant, met the owner for the first time yesterday. Didn't even ask for his name but he's always present making sure guests are well served. I could not walk away without praise as TaNadia truly deserves a recommendation.

This beautiful lady suggested this wonderful beef special. It was delicious. Unfortunately before I got there I had tripped and hurt the top of my foot. So I asked for some ice to reduce swelling. She brought me an ice pack for my foot. She showed such kindness to a tourist, stranger that I was moved with thankfulness. Then the food came our. The meat was tender. The salad was perfect with oil and balsamic, Have been traveling almost a month and it was the best meal I have had. Customer service was outstanding. They really care about their customers.

Overall, the usual hit-or-miss tourist restaurant. We got dirty cutlery with dry traces of droplets and even a finger print on a knife blade. The Greek salad had too much balsamico, which changed the taste completely. The pasta in the spaghetti Carbonara was fine, but the meat was too salty. A lady at a nearby table was complaining about her fish.
