Casa Vostra — Restaurant in Victoria

Can't find a word to describe how perfect the pizza is! Stone oven baked and wood scent absorbed sourdough edges was extremely delicious. The balance of dough, sauce and the other stuff was also perfect. We are also happy to find a pizza (San Guiseppe) that give us some veggies and sausage together. It has a very unique and distinctive interior as you see the lights, paints and decorative items including a Vespa and a big banana tree. It has a small garden in the back and will probably be our favorite on upcoming summer days. Casa Vostra means ‘Your Home’ in Italian. It really makes you feel at home with its friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and excellent food. Please don’t skip to make reservation before you visit. It was fully booked on our first visit. And our second visit was Tuesday and it was closed all day. We finally found it open on our third visit. Please note that, It is closed in every Tuesday and it is open between 12:00–14:30 / 18:00–22:30 in other days. I found Casa Vostra on Google Maps and we decided to try it out while staying in Victoria for a weekend. It is a very popular restaurant so it is best to reserve a table. We were lucky to get a table for the same evening. The restaurant has a very fun and creative interior and it is done with good taste. It feels upbeat and funky. They have a lovely patio at the back of the restaurant, with just a few tables, that is very pleasant. Staff at Casa Vostra are some of the best you will find on Malta and on par with the more expensive, well known, restaurants on Malta. Very helpful, friendly, professional and with a cheerful attitude. We had the San Giuseppe pizza and a Pollo burger. Casa Vostra are known for their great pizzas and they delivered. With a great dough, fresh ingredients, and well cooked it was delicious. The burger was also very tasty and the French fries nicely done. Casa Vostra has a good selection of beer from around the world as well as wine. One can easily see why this place has such good reviews and why it is good to book a table in advance. Highly...

Best Pizza quality wise in gozo. However, this in reality is a fast food pizzeria in desguise of a restaurant. The place itself is cramped. The tables are small. The toilet is not so clean. And more tables than the actual space can chew and afford to have it in reality. In winter, if the other side is open, then the cold breeze flows inside, which makes the sitting uncomfortable without winter wear. All the waiters (assume trained like this, including the owner, tend to hurry up on things, unlike the price, which commands restaurant style service and ambience and give time to patrons. The moment the plates start looking empty, they come to ask if u want something more or if you are done, etc. This happened to us twice on our total of thrice visits. The pizzas taste good and quality seems nice, that's why we return visits. However, if you can not handle ignoring the the service with respect to the prices of the menu, then this place is not for you. Better order online ( if they have that service) and relish it at home....
