Tepie's Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Victoria

The location of the restaurant is quite nice and the personnel seemed to be friendly, so we decided to have dinner there.

The appetizer, a fish platter, was ok. Nothing special, but good.

The seafood spaghetti, however, were just terrible. The spaghetti were broken in small pieces and massively overcooked. The seafood was dry and tasteless. I even saw something that looked suspiciously like a chopped surimi stick, which has nothing to do in seafood pasta, and even that was tasteless. To add insult to injury, our server placed grated parmesan on our table... Cheese on seafood pasta, really? The only reason I ate it is that I hate wasting food.

Our son had a burger, which was like anything you could have in a fast food establishment. Again, nothing special.

Their “French onion soup” which was a special of the day was served without French cheese and without garlic bread. I’ve had French onion soup and there was nothing about this except for salty dish water and onions.

The Caesar salad had only a couple of pieces of chicken, and the salad was just a regular mixed salad that can be found at a supermarket. It was soaked in mayonnaise rather than Caesar dressing and for some strange reason it contained shredded carrots.

Even the traditional Bigilla was wrong. It was reddish meaning probably red Kidney beans were used perhaps? The bread served with it was dry and the water biscuits lost their crunch.

1 star from me and unless everywhere else in Gozo is closed and I’m at the threshold of hell I won’t...

We were searching some restaurant with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday. Waiter (I think also owner of the restaurant) spoke to us and showed us his special offer for this day. After explorating other restaurants, we came back and it was the best decision!

All waiters were very kind and nice. The main waiter (I guess owner of the restaurant) step by in every table to ask if everything is okay. But not with bothersome way.

Food was delicious. We ordered lamb and swordfish. I have never eaten better fish!

I have had a relly great feeling after this dinner. Kind personal, great food. I really appreciate this job! Keep going! :)...
