STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

This place was recommended to us, but ended up being the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. We were a group of 5 people, 4 of us got the Arrachera. We asked when ordering that it indeed came with mushrooms as stated in the menu, they confirmed it did. When the food arrived there were no mushroom nor rice (both were supposed to be included), they gave us a very dry, tasteless thin piece of steak with two pieces of chips and a small green salad. When we asked them where's the mushrooms and the rice, they said they didn't have mushrooms and brought us one small plate of rice instead to share between us all, they even said they'd bring us more veggies instead of the mushrooms but never did. The 5th order was salmon, the salmon was completely raw on the inside, when we asked them to cook it longer they barely cooked it and when they brought it back it was still raw.. The drinks were very watered-down (we got piña coladas). We also ordered chicken tacos that never came yet still wanted to charge us for and we ordered chips and guac which did arrive but only included 4 pieces of chips and we had to ask for a separate plate of chips. Service was also horrible, we first had to wait several minutes to be able to order more drinks as we had more friends who joined us then we had to wait over 30minutes for the bill after we asked for it 4 different times.

This place was pretty decent. Pizza and guacamole were great, but the rest of the food and drinks wasn't up to par. So if you're trying to decide what you want, I definitely recommend trying the pizza if you're at La Catrina!

I personally got the Margherita Pizza (160 pesos) and the guacamole (100 pesos).

The reason why I gave it a 3 star rating was that the drinks weren't really made that well. They tasted watered down and was completely different from what we ordered. The only one they got right was the drinks we ordered for my friend's birthday since they didn't have to add anything to it.

There were also stray dogs everywhere getting aggressive with one another and that they were stealing food from people's tables.

Also it might be better to go during the day time if you're with little kids since at night there are a lot of drunk party animals that like to dance and stray dogs looking for an easy meal from...

HORRIBLE SERVICE/ DO NOT COME SERVICIO TERIBLE/ NO VENGAN AQUÍ I came here this past summer and the experience my boyfriend and I had was terrible. First we noticed a large group of over 10+ people arrive and leave within 15 minutes of arriving because they weren’t being attended. Next we had to keep going to the bar to get service since the waitress was not being attentive to us. We ordered pizza off the menu and after 45+ mins of waiting, asked her about it, she comes back a few mins later with a cold pizza. We complained about the pizza being cold, they literally put it in an oven so it got even drier and served it again It was like eating cardboard. Never again will I come here or recommend this place. Spoke with the manager who said they would not take this $30 USD personal-sized pizza...

Very nice bar with live entertainment at night time. It was Friday night. (so check their schedule for the band). Prices are very reasonable. A TiP: If you see an empty table, just sit at it as soon as you can. Otherwise some one else will. That's what the waiter told me. The place was full on Friday night. As for the food we tried: it was half and half mexican and vegetarian pizza, also habañero chicken wings. The food was great. Just be careful with the sauce you choose for the wings. Even my mexican friends were crying while eating the wings. Just in case I was ordering whiskey shots separately and mixed it myself with coke. The service is very friendly and fast even when being full.

The food was nice but nothing extraordinary, the smoothie didn't have too much ice to make it drinkable (many places have too much ice) so that is good. The music was kinda loud though, also in the back. The waitress couldn't hear much when talking to us and same other way around. After getting the bill, we paid an exact 110% of the bill. That means 10% tip. Apparently they thought it was 2 pesos more for this tip (written on the bill) and they counted my loose pesos and miscounted and wanted 3 pesos extra. They called us back to get 3 (three!) extra pesos. First time we get called back to give more tip then is actually needed in a lot of weeks traveling here. Weird taste.
