This restaurant tried its best to Represent American food however as an American, I don’t feel like they Accommodated us. The food is expensive Considering that it’s Mexico. We paid about $20 for a rack of babybaack ribs that tasted like it had ketchup smeared on it. We originally asked for a dry ribs, and they said that they would do their best to not over marinate them, when Waitress came with our plate, It was soaking in ketchup or what they refer too as bbq sauce. As soon as I got them, I didn’t touch them and asked if we could switch them out for some dryer ones and they said NO. We ended up sending the plate back and paying without complaining bc it was our fault for expecting them to accommodate us even though they said the would try their best too, if they would’ve been honest about their inability to put bbq sauce on the side instead of soaking them then we never would’ve placed an order. They also lather the ribs with “bbq” when it’s raw and throw them on the grill, they dont bbq it...
Read moreFirst visit, ordered the half rack of pork ribs to go. It took quite a while, but it was fresh, hot, and delicious. Second visit, ordered the half rack again, plus an order of fries with chicken pieces also to go. Food took almost an hour. As we were walking to the car with our food, one of the workers came out and asked if our order was correct. We checked the ribs and they were fine. We checked the fries and it was Carne Asada instead of chicken. She took it back and brought the correct order out. We ate in the car and the food was not hot or fresh. The chicken had no seasoning and just tasted like boiled chicken that was cooked in a pan for a few minutes. The ribs were tasty just not hot (meaning tempature-wise). I don't know what their deal is but don't plan on going back. Too bad. We were looking for a BBQ place to...
