First and for most I want to say that I think Carl´s Jr. is one of the best fast food restaurants here in Mexico. It´s more expansive than Burger King and McDonalds but, you get what you pay for. I like the fact that they bring your food to your table. This particular restaurant has outdoor seating and it also has an area inside for children to play. Another thing I like is that you can refill your own drinks for free. There´s a drive Thru in case you don´t want to go inside. Read moreI visit Carl's jr. frequently here in tijuana, sadly here they served jalapeño poppers that we're several hours old. I brought it to managements attention and they offered to give me fresh poppers which i declined since i had lost my appetite. I have worked in the fast food industry myself in the US so I have much experience as to the protocols that have to be followed when food has been sitting there for a while, they chose to serve it as to not have losses but that can cause food born illnesses. Read moreTried the new Southwest Biscuit breakfast meal with hashed browns and large soda with ice. I really went in for the large soda with ice. By law, 7-11, OXXO and other convenience stores can't sell iced drinks. This forces you the customer to seek your iced drinks elsewhere. I saw slurpees being sold at a drug store. Sadly, most low budget restaurants sell you cold bottled or canned sodas. The work around is, all American fast food restaurants sell sodas with ice. If you are an affluent traveler, I'm sure most high end places serve iced sodas or whatever drinks...
