We love this restaurant. We know them for almost 10 years now. Gector , Michele waiters and Anjel chef ! It’s an amazing team ! Friendly and professional! Food is always delicious! We usually order steak, it’s really tender and delicious! I personally ordered salmon, it was soft like butter and very well flavored. When we go to TJ we eat at Chiki Jai, it became a tradition now! Great food at an affordable price. The blue cheese appetizer along with the bread was awesome! I just wish they had more TABLES, because the 8 tables they have get filled up quickly. The service could be a bit better IMO. Oh and the rice is top notch also, it doesn’t clump or flooded with useless vegetables.

Este restaurante es un clásico de Tijuana, sin embargo ya no se encuentra en su lugar original. Actualmente está en un lugar muy cerca del original. La paella es buena y los cortes de carne también. Recomiendo los champiñones al ajillo. También recomiendo pedir el vino de la casa. La comida es muy buena. El aspecto del restaurante es un poco desordenado. Hay muchos elementos decorativos dan la sensación de caos, pero fuera de eso, es cómodo. La atención de los meseros es buena pero a veces sí se tardaron para traernos bebidas o tomarnos la orden. Fuera de eso, son muy amables. El consumo por persona fue de 650 pesos, pero pedimos varios tragos de vino, wisky y ron blanco, lo que no se nos hizo caro.

Wow. I stabmled upon Chiki Jai on my quest for the best food in Tijuana.

For some, the quest of life is work, achievements or pottery. In my case it's food.

With a smile to my face, and a full stomach I can confidently say that Chiki Jai blew my mind.

I had the Rice Paella, salad, cheese, bread and fish. It was terrific. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was similar to a Mexican version of Madrid. I definitely know where to go on my next visit to Tijuana. Highly...

The profile picture on Google Business page is of the old restaurant that burnt down several years ago. Though located across the corner and having a tarp display announcing its location, the hidden gem is worth the visit. The paella is delicious and the flan with coconut caps off the meal at a great price. It offers othe traditional delicatessens and tapas.
