This I would like to call it a "Small Great Place" since it is a Japanese restaurant not very visible but very popular among recommendations. The place only has two options Teriyaki and teriyaki combo, but both are exquisite, I chose to try a bit of everything and ordered the teriyaki combo, it was a delight, the food of the place is very good, the chef is Japanese and can literally listen with how much effort prepares your food because to split the chicken of each teriyaki you hear the knife hit the board to leave. The miso soup and the sushi cones were also very good, however the highlight of the place is the teriyaki! The restaurant is in a square, on the lower floor located to the corner, so it is difficult to see, has 2 spaces for parking only and the place is not suitable for people who use wheelchairs. Inside the restaurant is clean however it looks old and somewhat neglected. The service is very good and the chef's attention is excellent. The food does not last long in arriving at your table, this makes it a very convenient place to visit on occasions when time is not in your favor or you just want to have a good meal quickly. The place is not very busy and there is no wait to enter, so you will get a table very quickly. It is a very suitable place for all people, to ask is easy, just aim at the menu what you want and the chef...
Read moreUndoubtedly my favorite food in Tijuana. I've never come across a chicken teriyaki dish as delicious as this one. A simple menu: a teriyaki bowl, or a teriyaki bowl with a side of sushi and miso soup. These are also available as take-out. Along side the food there's an assortment of drinks to choose from. Be mindful, though, as the place is run by only ONE person. So the orders are "first come, first serve".
Truly a...
Read moreThus is the most delicious Japanese food I have ever eaten. The menu has 2 options that make it incredibly easy. Teriyaki or Sushi. Everything is grilled in front of you. The cook is a Japanese man that barely speaks Spanish. But that sense of legitimate Japanese food and the fact that it actually tastes very good makes this...
