Ugh. I feel so bad not giving more stars but I feel like I need to give a heads up to potential paying patrons. I was sooooo excited to try this place out and to be honest with you, I’ve gone twice. The first time was a bit of a honeymoon effect. I enjoyed my time but felt like the food was eh. I brought a friend the second time too and after sitting and eating I was left very underwhelmed by everything. Considering the lack of attention from the staff and the very basic quality of food, I was once again flabbergasted by the cost of the food. Mind you, the conversion between USD and MX is to be understood but I could literally spend less MX for better quality food elsewhere. Don’t let this average star rating deter you from making a visit but just understand not to hold this place on a pedestal before your arrival. I have a fairly strong stomach so I never got sick on either visit; however, please note that both friends that I went with on separate occasions did get sick after stopping...

Location: this is a street food stall and as such, the review is strictly only for the food. Tuna tostada: 8/10. Very delicious and fresh. Considering 1) this is a street food stall 2) in Tijuana 3) ratio of tuna: cucumber - while it's very good, seems very pricey (USD $6.50) Almeja chocolata: I ordered it dressed with tomato and onion and that seemed to be too much and didn't allow me to really taste the actual clam Aguachile tostada: 8/10. Pretty good but left a little to be desired. Virtually no spice. Aguachile is meant to be spicy and this not spicy at all. This is my MUST visit place for the last 3 years everytime I come down to Tijuana for visa stamping! This place made me always looking forward to my visa stamping trips! The seafood here is amazing and cheap! I don't speak more than 5 words of Spanish, but was able to somehow communicate with the chefs and order octopus, shrimp, oysters.
