I have walked by this place many times and often thought that it has to be good because there is always a line up of cars waiting to park here. Well, I finally took the plunge and don’t regret it a bit. This place lives up to its reputation - very solid and delicious brunch combined with the best server I have ever had in any restaurant in Tijuana. Today MONDAY May 27, 2024. We went to the restaurant for breakfast because it was recommended to us. They sat us down and the waitress took time to take the drink order and then it took more than 10 minutes to take the order for our breakfast, we had to call another waitress to take the order, it took more than 37 minutes for them to bring us our order because We had to tell the manager that our order was taking too long, we canceled the order because it took a lot of time, terrible service from the staff. San Marcos siempre es una opción para la hora de la comida. El lugar tiene una ubicación privilegiada al estar justo en la glorieta de las tijeras en la Zona Río y todo está a distancia caminable.

Me gusta que el lugar mantiene esa buena atención seria del arte de los meseros. El trato es cordial pero impersonal a diferencia de otros dónde pareciera que los meseros quieren establecer una amistad con el comensal.

El lugar tiene una excelente iluminación la temperatura del lugar siempre está cuidada y si tienes la suerte de tener una mesa pegada a los ventanales, podrás comer tranquilamente mientras ves el dinamismo Tijuanense en frente a ti.

Me gusta su menú de comida del día ya que el sazón es exquisito y viene con agua y postre lo que complementa toda la experiencia.

Algo que me encanta es que a parte de los tradicionales totopos para mitigar el hambre mientras esperas tu platillo, en San Marcos te regalan de entrada una quesadilla de maiz (con queso, para los que son de otros lares) en tortilla hecha a mano. Eso no solo se agradece, se festeja.

Sobra decir que el lugar siempre está muy ordenado y limpio. Los baños el mismo caso.
