They have a complete and interesting menú... Breakfast, Lunch, Juices, Kids-menu, and Mixology Drinks, everything looks Authentic and Original. It was still early, so I only tried the Corn Pancakes 🌽🥞 and the "Mil Hojas" Dish, a tower of thin sliced potato 🥔, with bacon bits in-between, topped with a poached egg and a tasty cream sauce at the bottom. Both were delicious👌🏻👌🏻 The restaurant is tucked in a corner on the second floor, with a relaxed vibe and a vintage look, you don't even notice you are in the middle of a busy Mercado. It does have a street level staircase that takes you there, but it can be missed easily if you don't know what you are looking for. I'm definitely coming back a couple more times so I can try lunch plates and those good-looking cocktails. Hidden Gem inside Mercado...

Found this place by walking the mercado, it is a little hidden spot. If you didn't know know it is here you'll miss it, my wife and I highly recommend it, we were there for breakfast, I had the PUNTAS, which is steak in a spicy sauce with red chilaquiles and an over medium pair of eggs on that (it was the bomb), my wife had the mole chilaquiles and they were also good, we share the elote (corn) pankakes, they ere good also, you guys must try this place. The service was great, our server, Roberto was excellent, friendly, explained and recommended dishes, a really nice guy. The place is located upstairs, on the second floor, I think that they need a little more signage, advertisement, to make the place a little...

Wonderful quiet spot in a busy market place. Located in the second floor of Mercado Hidalgo is this quaint inconspicuous eatery. The place was empty and the ambience felt quite intimate. The service was very good and the food was genuinely delicious. What left me very satisfied was the drinks. I had two different styled sangrías, one was the original version while the other was a house version made from white wine with finely diced fruit. Both were very good and strong. The only deductible points were the decor which were a little rough around the edges. Everything else was fine and would recommend going to...
