Update: Aug '24 Returned for another visit and enjoyed the meal. I had the tonkotsu ramen and steamed gyozas. The only thing is that the ramen is still a bit salty but enjoyable, nonetheless. The char siu remains to be on the thin side but is tasty. Staff were friendly, and the service was quick. Thus far, I would say this would be one of the best places for ramen in TJ. The food here is good, though not authentic Japanese. We had the tonkotsu ramen, the curry chicken, both the dried and steamed dumplings. Mind you, it is not gyoza. They are Chinese styled dumplings. They were tasty and had no problem with it. However, they are not gyozas. The ramen itself was a bit too salty for my taste, and the char-siu was a bit thin and lacked flavor. I would say the curry chicken was really good, and I enjoyed that the most. I've had authentic ramen in various cities from authentic Japanese chefs. This, unfortunately, is lacking. I hope to try it again sometime in the future to see if it has improved or not. I will update you accordingly. I would say this place is worth a try if you are in the area and craving some ramen.

Waiter was rude and not willing to acknowledge the restaurants mistake. This was our first time trying this type of food (party of 9 people) and it's a new food to us so we do not know what to expect. The person that served us our plates was different from the person that took the order which is where this mess started. They served the wrong plates to the wrong people. We specifically asked the person serving the food what was in it and they could not specifically tell us what was in one particular dish. Turns out he just took a guess at what was in the soup and told us it was something other than what it really was. So this person trusted in the waiter and began eating. Sadly she is ALLERGIC to what she began eating and had to be rushed out due to her starting to have an allergic reaction. When we brought this to the attention of the waiter he told us " You should have known by the taste what was in it " And yes she indeed knew AFTER tasting it that she is ALLERGIC. When we explained to the waiter that initially took the order what happened and specified that we made the effort to ask what was in it he said " it was not my fault I did not give you the dish". We understand that he didn't serve it however the miscommunication should not have happened. He took our order and knew who ordered what dish. It was not our responsibility to taste test every single plate to make sure we got the right one. Again I state we have never had this food before so how could we have possibly known that it wasn't correct if we had no prior knowledge of what it is supposed to taste like. We made the effort to inquire what was on that persons particular plate and were misinformed. That is not our fault. Even after making this point clear to the manager and the waiter never disrespecting them they still had the audacity to try and charge us for the plate. After the person having the allergic reaction was rushed out they brought her correct plate. They tried to force the plate onto my wife who still had not received her own dish. This was more than an hour later after having ordered. She did not want something she did not order and why they tried so hard to force it onto her I don't understand. The waiter said " someone has to pay for this and its not going to be me " So after harassing us about the plate he said ok fine I'll put it to go and bring your the right dish in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later the dish did not arrive. We went downstairs to ask to cancel that plate and saw the dish sitting on the counter already cold. He said "I was about to take it up. it just came out " It was already cold we checked. We were over it. We wanted the check to pay for what was eaten and get the heck out of here to check on our friends condition. That is when the manager came up and still wanted to charge both plates. After going back and forth she finally took them off our bill. But only after she explained that we should have obviously known the difference of the taste (of a food we have never tried before) and you bet my friend knew the difference when she started reacting to it. HORRIBLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The food that the rest of our friends received was great. It's disappointing that their customer service was this petty...

I am a lover of Japanese food I love it every time I travel I look for Japanese food restaurants this time it was in Tijuana I made a short stop at this restaurant and honestly I do not recommend it at all terrible service the unprofessional waitresses were not attentive at all and above all they did not know how to speak English they said that if they knew but they didn't understand anything I said seriously I don't recommend this place lousy service as if that weren't enough I'll do a Review on the account of one of the best Japanese food critics so you know that this restaurant is one of the worst I don't know let appearances take me away, above all I had one of the worst unpleasant experiences I found two hairs on the goddesses that I ordered and above all the waitress was arrogant and haughty she gave me the bill without having asked for it she picked up the menu from my table without me I have authorized I did not even finish looking at the menu when she picked up the menu it is somewhat disgusting this restaurant I do not recommend it at all do not attend there is m best restaurants in Tijuana seriously on my visit I think that restaurant left me with a bad taste From Tijuana it left me with a bad taste of that establishment never in my life will I go to this restaurant again lousy service lousy customer service and they brought me almost cold food it took them 35 minutes to bring my food and it still took another 35 minutes to bring the rest of my food they brought it almost cold And if that wasn't enough they almost threw a plate of food on my legs And her answer was that it was a serious accident lousy service I do not recommend it if you are a tourist I recommend you go to the section of best known...

Lets start with what was good, it is a really cool and modern place, decoration, music and cleanliness was nice. Now.. Food was okay, gyozas were really good, but the pork in the tonkotsu ramen was kind of bland and broth on the wonton ramen needed more flavor.. So overall food and atmosphere were good.. BUT service.. Oh lord.. The waitress really could work on her service skills, the tone of her answers to the questions we made during the order was real bad, we felt like we were bothering her.. But even then we were trying to be patient, and then something weird happen.. A person came into the restaurant and sat into a large table for 4 people, the waitress approach him and told him that he cannot sit there because the table was too large for just 1 person, and would be better if he changed to the bar or a small table, and even though the customer was rude, you as a waitress cannot confront or respond with the same attitude, because of course that display of bad attitude will affect other customers, and that was our case, the waitress was rude to that person, he left, but we end up feeling awkward and weird, the other waiters (the guys) were nice, but that women really needs some...
