ONO Teppanyaki — Restaurant in Cancún

You guessed it, It's your trusty teppanyaki Japanese restaurant. Just as expected they serve traditional Japanese grilled food. the restaurant is divided into two segments, one side teppanyaki and the other side is a sushi restaurant. They made crispy fried rice which is a unique dish from the teppanyaki, high quality ingredients. and exceptional service staff, they are very friendly and ensures everything is handled in a timely manner.

I gave a 5 star for service for speed and quality. Atmosphere 5 for great platting and serving style. For food I want to give 4.5 not because food isn't great, but they can lighten on the soy sauce and salting. Other than this one adjustment it's a great place.

Although I cannot rate just yet on the sushi menu but I had a sample California roll as appetizers which I believe they are top notch as well given the texture of the rice and sushi technique.

Great dining experience with these gentlemen - Heriberto, Freddy, Francisco, who made our dining experience unforgettable. They brought out all the food they recommended for us to taste. Miso soup was great. Highly recommend salmon nigiri and salmon sashimi. Followed by a mixture of yakitoris! From fish, octopus, beef and chicken. It was ok. Poorly cut fish has sinue in the meat. Service was odd by our server. The edamame was presented with a greasy beef flavored coating that appeared to be tossed on the grill with steak. The portions were oddly small. We asked for another order of tempura with no shrimp or meat and it was presented with more shrimp than vegetables. We explained this and the waiter had a passive aggressive nature and apologized. There must be better fresh sushi...
