Overall the meal was as expected. As a family we ordered some appetizers and two platters for two of steak, lobster and shrimp. The appetizers where forgotten as there was some "mix-up", that was really no that big of a deal however we could not get the attention of a waiter even though it is a relatively small seating area to ask why until our meals came. The steak, lobster, shrimp and accompaniments were cooked as one would expect for a restaurant of this standard. The disappointment came at the end when the waiters complained very strongly that my tip was not better than 20%. I asked how they felt this was deserved when our app's had been forgotten and that our service was really nothing more than taking the order then delivering the food? Their offer was free appetizers the next day. SO in the end I tipped 15% and left disappointed and ate the next night at Da Vinicis around the corner.

Dear Owner, I did not keep the ticket from that night. The table we sat at was out front along the wall to the right side looking in from the board walk if that helps. Even if we did have the ticket I am not sure how much that would help as we had one waiter seat us, one take our order, one brought us our drinks and then another came along after 20 minutes or so and said our meal would be ready soon. It was this same waiter that brought our food but prior to that I asked about our app's we had ordered and he first said he didn't know about them then all in the same sentence stated there had been a mix up. All very understandable, it happens. The food was delivered by this waiter but it was the first waiter that took the order that came to collect the payment and his offer then was for one free appetizer the next day. To be clear, it was the day after new years eve. The staff had worked a very long day previous and were most likely running on little sleep. Yes the food was fine, yes the service was mixed up, all understandable. It would have been appreciated MUCH better if after the mixup was acknowledge that instead of trying to upsale us to return the next night for a one free appetizer a simple dessert could have been offered that meal. That would have seemed a bit more appropriate. To be clear, this is not the end of the world and did not take away from our holiday experience as a whole. Yes it left a very distasteful ending to the dining experience in your restaurant to feel like I was hustled and attempted to be shamed that my tip was not over 20% after there clearly was not a great service experience. We did actually have the pleasure of meeting you that evening and were impressed to see you leading your staff by clearing tables and interacting with the guests. This place was recommended to us by a fellow vegan traveller looking for vegan options. It did not disappoint, they have a rotating vegan menu. We were given three options to choose from, including vegetable fajitas, cauliflower steak and bruschetta. I got the fajitas which were very tasty, and came with refried beans and rice. My husband got the cauliflower steak, which tasted amazing, sadly I forgot to take a photo of his, but he got a whole head of cauliflower cooked with Mexican spices and came with a salad. In a town and country that is highly seafood and meat oriented, it was good to have a choice. Other places we approached in the marina area were not as helpful. So this was a plus! Our server Sandra went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed at all times the entire staff was super attentive to clear our plates as soon as we were done, very quick to bring out our drink orders (the Mezcalita with passion fruit was super fresh a delicious, a must try!), helping us pack up our leftovers carefully so they wouldn’t make a mess on the way back to the hotel. All and all, a great experience. The interior seating area is a bit reduced in size, but who wants to sit inside when the outdoor seating has such spectacular views of the marina. Great place to get a drink, quick snack, or have a full meal (the blackened catch of the day was delicious and super fresh) while you people watch and enjoy the view.
