Quiet secure place super close to the craziness. Super quiet I slept great, even on the weekend I could just barely make out the music from a block or two away. I had room 102, a junior suite. It was clean and met my needs quite well. It included a small refrigerator, microwave, cook stove, full size drip coffee maker, coffee filters, utensils, cups, plates, bowls, one small sauce/cook pan with lid, paper towels and a pitcher. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day even doing the dishes.
Check in was quick and easy. There seemed to be someone at or around reception most of the time. There is a locked gate, you have a key to access the property. You can knock and be let in.
The courtyard and pool are small but nice, shady and cool even mid day.
It is literally just a couple minute walk to the marina. Maybe 15 minute walk to Medano beach, a bit longer to the smaller quieter beach on the opposite side of the marina, with just a bit of wading, rock scrambling you can get to several more small secluded beaches out toward lands end. I found you can also walk out the large sloped beach (DO NOT SWIM HERE, YOU WILL DIE!)to the west of the arch, by going through the Tesoros resort, and can purchase food and drinks(actually cheaper than most marina bar/restaurants)and use their large pool. Just don't try to get to the beach from the last resort to the east. They will...
Read moreI booked two rooms for our vacation and they gave us our pick when we arrived. My partner & I stayed in the penthouse room with gorgeous views of the city and the sunrise through the palm in the courtyard every morning. The second level communal space is the perfect spot to enjoy the delicious complimentary coffee and birdwatch in the mornings. The bougainvillea that covers the wall creates colorful imagery I won’t forget. The courtyard areas are nice and offer a quieter oasis within the bustling downtown. The location is perfect, with a ten minute walk from the Ruta del Desierto bus stop that brought us from the airport, and about a 20 minute walk to either of the popular beaches, a few minutes to the marina, and lots and lots of great food & entertainment nearby. The rooms had A/C available, a fridge, microwave, and kitchenette stocked with basic dishes and pans. Every day the staff cleaned our rooms and replaced our towels around 11AM, which was lovely! The staff was friendly and there was little need for interaction the majority of our stay. The rooms were beautiful with mexican tile countertops, drinking water was supplied, and the pool was clean and open! It was a bit too cold to swim in it during our winter stay, but overall I have no complaints! If I ever come back to Cabo I will be staying here...
Read moreLocation is great for downtown Los Cabos, everything in walking distance.Nice quiet spot, easy access and there is on site secure parking if you decide to rent or bring a vehicle.Rooms are nice and cozy with different levels of space and beds, we were in 108, it had 2 twin beds, right next to the pool.I would recommend that they spend a few dollars to improve some things, longer shower curtain in room 108 would keep the water out of the toilet area, a fly screen in the shower window would help keep the mosquitoes out.Housekeeping was excellent, ladies were very attentive and rooms were spotless. They have fresh water to refill water bottles and fresh coffee every morning, no restaurant on site, but as mentioned you are right downtown, 5-10 minutes walk...
