We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance, without checking reviews, and it was pure luck—especially for a Valentine’s dinner. We had probably the best nachos we tried in Mexico, and we traveled around the country for three weeks, not just in touristy areas. The sopa de lima was also fantastic. A lovely place, great staff, and overall a wonderful experience with amazing food. Be sure to try the mango Mezcalita!

Yo soy española y mi marido es mexicano y a ambos nos gustó mucho. Los precios son muy buenos, y más teniendo en cuenta que es una zona turística 100%. Por 500 pesos (25€) comimos estupendamente los dos: un entrante para compartir, un plato cada uno y tres bebidas. Además los platos eran muy copiosos (yo no pude con el mío). La comida estaba muy buena. De entrante pedimos pico de gallo con totopos. De plato principal yo pedí unas quesadillas de arrachera que estaban buenísimas (la carne con muy buen sabor). Mi marido es vegetariano y le prepararon especialmente una parrillada de verduras para hacerse fajitas que ya sólo con olerlas te quitaban el hambre de lo rico, y que venían muy bien acompañadas. Antes de comer también fuimos a pedir cervezas para llevar que tenían buen precio y estaban muy fresquitas. El servicio estuvo bien, y además cuentan con unos aseos que tienen al lado unas duchas en las que te puedes quitar toda la arena y la sal de la playa. Tienen también unos columpios en la barra como asientos, que son geniales para unas buenas fotos.

This place looks like a bar, but the have a kitchen in the back and serve great local authentic food. The place is full of locals. This ain't a fancy place, but is great to have a taste of local cuisine and get a break from all those places targeted to tourists. We had shrimps, lime soup, and fish and everything was really good.

The place is okay, a small shack bar with an off the side kitchen, the food service is very slow. $55 USD seafood plate was great for the price. The only complaint is that the menu stated it came with lobster but was served Sea Snail instead (still a culinary delicacy) but is typically very hard to chew.
