Zama is a beautiful lounge where you get to enjoy a stunning view of Cancún. They have a restaurant, pools for kids and adults, a bar and lounge chairs with umbrellas, and bathrooms. The entrance is free but you pay for the lounge chairs. It has a great swing to take fun pictures and two hamacas in the water. Tours from Cancún stop here so it gets crowded in waves. I saw inflatable paddle boards but I’m not sure if you get to rent them or are only available for the people coming in from Cancún. The ceviche was delicious and I also enjoyed the piña colada. My 3 starts are because the service was slow and two separate waiters forgot about us for long periods of time. The bathroom doors are not exactly easy to close and one of the times there was not tp in the stall. I would also recommend calling ahead of time to check their schedule because they adjust it for special events. There’s free valet parking. Tips are encouraged so remember to ring cash.

Perfect place to spend a day at the beach. The cost of renting umbrellas is affordable: one umbrella and two lounge chairs for $300 pesos, a nest for two people with an umbrella $500 pesos and beds with an umbrella in front of the beach $1000. It is the price for the day and includes access to the pools, bathrooms (which have air conditioning) and showers. The rent is paid in cash. Consumption in the restaurant is optional and can be paid by credit card. The prices are good considering that we are in a tourist area. We ordered a fish ceviche which was delicious. You can relax on the beach, there are almost no street vendors. But the beach can get busy since it is apparently a place where what appears to be day tours arrive. People arrive in groups and stay for 1 or 2 hours. Overall we enjoyed our day so much that we returned the next day.

According to reviews, this used to be in a different location, so look at the most recent pics and reviews. It's a nice beach club. We rented beach towels for 300 pesos for the day and set our things on a table with an umbrella. There is no entrance fee, but they do want you to order drinks and / or food. We had some amazing dragonfruit margaritas. The guacamole with watermelon was delicious, as was the tuna. There are two small pools, one under a canopy, so it's shaded and the other next to the bar that is in the sun. You can rent lounge chairs on the beach. It was fairly quiet the day we went, so not a lot of people. We literally had the pool in the sun to ourselves most of the day. All of the catamarans that docked on the pier went to the Ixi beach club next door, so it was nice that we weren't bombarded.

Awful service. We parked our golf cart and before we even got ready to walk in Hector the wait staff was waiting at the front and flat out told us that it was a private beach club and we were not welcome when the sign right outside was said open to the public. Hector directed and told us the public beach was down the road and when we asked what the place was called he said he didn't know cause he was new. We then proceeded to even ask him in Spanish and he said the same thing and stood at the entrance with his hands on his hips blocking our entering. We road around for 30 min asking locals where the public spot was and they had told us the club zama was a public beach. We called club zama and they then told us it was indeed public you just had to spend a minimum amount to enjoy their club which we knew was standard and was fine with. We went back to the club and there came Hector again to the entrance asking what we were doing trying to block us from entering again. We however walked right past him and then angrily told him in spanish why he would flat out lie to us and waste our time and tell us it was a private beach, he was not apologetic and had a smirk on his face the entire time. You think when you are in the service industry for your job you would be accommodating and welcome your guests. We got there and decided to stay for a hour or so even tho we were fuming with what happened. The service was awful the beach was black with tons of seaweed. We demanded we speak with the manager and alex came and we told him what Hector had done but alex didnt even apologize and said he would wait on us. If i could give them a negative stars i would. We will never be coming back to zama beach club ever and highly recommend no...

🌟GO❤️🏖️🐕🍤🐙🍹🏝️🏊🧜 THE BEST SERVICE, BEST POOLS, BEST CALAMARI, BEST BEST BEST PASSION FRUIT MARGARITA 💕‼️ These are the NICEST, most ATTENTIVE staff🙋 people on the island (or anywhere)!!! I was treated like a queen and so was everyone else, I noticed! They couldn't do enough and all came out to thank me for coming when I left! They made my birthday so special! I can't believe I have missed this beautiful place during the 2 years I have lived here full time. I guess because North Beach was open I never went to what I thought were tourist traps. This is like being in a five-star hotel or better without having to pay for the room! First of all the swimming pools were beautiful, clean, clear, clorinated and refreshing because, up to 5 ft.deep, with some greenery, the water temperature is cooler. +Small jetted spa pools. The bayside sandy beach is clean, clear, moving, hip-deep water (not still, and hot bacteria pools like the others.) Dog friendly, +Pier and swing. Crispy, tender, black calamari perfectly cooked. Check their menu and you will see it's not the same old same old so it's a PLEASURE, not a duty, to enjoy the no cover, $500 minimum. AMAZING PASSIONFRUIT MARGARITA 💕 OMG‼️...must have been an entire fruit in my perfectly balanced, true cocktail‼️worth the $210! (ask for a floater if you like unbalanced drinks where you can taste the alcohol) It would be a delicious, delightful pleasure to dine here even if it were not a resort! (and that's hard to say on this overly priced, mediocre food, poorly staffed island.) NOT a waste of my hard earned money like most of this island! GO GO GO ❤️🍹😍 IF YOU VALUE QUALITY OVER...

Forgive me, but I must have missed something. One of the ads says "in this luxurious Beach club features infinity pools."

This beach club is almost everything one would want to avoid in a beach club.

Filthy dressing rooms with smelly standing water underneath open slats of wood. No locker service, but torn apart locker ruins containing people's personal belongings. Two small, old swimming pools filled with drunks carrying glass bottles and wine glasses. Twice I watched a drunk drop a beer bottle and have it bounce on the cement. What happens when someone smashes a glass? Do they close the whole facility and drain the pool? Tiny, postage stamp Beach area.

Normally one would appreciate a location away from the city center, but this location is so far from the city center the only way to get here is 2 rent a vehicle or pay for a taxi.

Based on the description in all of the ads, I expected something similar to services typical of at least a two-star hotel. maybe I came in with way too high expectations. I traveled to Isla mujeres from my beautiful hotel with its four glimmering pools, one of which was an actual infinity pool.

Do not travel more than 15 minutes from your place of residence to get here or you will be disappointed.

The food. The food was tasty and the food service met expectations. That's the reason for two stars rather than one. I had the Yucatan ceviche and the fried calamari with a side order of french fries. The ceviche was plentiful and tasted good. The fried calamari portion was tiny and was a bit squishy. The french fries tasted bland and...
