CUSTOMERS AWARE! Some waitors of this bar are DISHONEST and are intended to CHEAT you for money. We visited there several days ago, and I paid by cash (in peso). I waited for a long long time and the waitor didn't even try to give me the change (well, I guess it was on purpose to delay for the change to let you leave so that they can take all). Then, I called them, but when he finally gave me the change, he gave me all in coin (billed in Mex$1, Mex$2, and Mex$5) and explained that they didn't have paper denominations any more (later, I knew that this was a lie). I counted it for three times and confirmed that the money changed was less than the correct number, and I called him again. Believe it, even before me, he still insisted that the number was correct! In the beginning, he said my bill was $x74 (I forgot $274 or $374) while the truth was $x24. I asked him to show me the bill, and then he had to admit that it was $x24. Then, when he counted the changes with me, of course, all coin denominations, he counted like this way for twice: ten, twenty, thirty, fifty, ... . I really cannot belive it! And finally, he admitted that the number was wrong, with a blush face (obviously, he had known it was wrong before giving me the change), and threw a lot of coins on the table and loudly said that here are the coins that much more than the difference. Well, I don't mind giving a waitor/waitress much much more than the difference for tip if the service is good (and indeed, I did so throughout my trip), but the tip is the tip and price is the price -- they should be clear, no matter what amount. This waitor's action is obviously a fraud.
In addition to this, the service of the bar is very very slow (you may need to wait for 30+ minutes for a fry), and the food taste is very soso. I will never...
Read moreFirstly, it's a restaurant in a quite central place, so you can expect lots of customers. That was also a driver for me when I stepped in. It was quite misleading in the end however. Food is tasting good, however if Im to be honest, when you order tuna and is steak, in the decent restaurants you are asked how do you want it to be cooked. My was medium rare, which was ok for me, but might be not for some. Vegetables saute as ordered and it were tasting good. General look of the dish was satisfying, portions were regular as in the other places in the area. The most dissappintment came to me in the end when I was about to pay the bill, 20% of the tip (suggested as stated on the paper) was actually a minimum. I asked for 5%, but it came with dissaproval. I had to pay additionally 20% for something that it seems to be a suggestion. Generally I play the rule, if something is not disclosed from the begging but in the end, then it means that the other party want to either rip you off or treat you as an idiot, and they know they don't deserve it so they have to play by their own rules without your approval. This is how I felt after visiting that place, and despite all of the other aspects, which is nice location, quite polite waiters at the begging and quite decent food. I have visit thousand of places around the world and this is so far my worst opinion I have ever put online, cause I feel if customer is coming to a place it gives some credit to the restaurant and the ball is on the other side, and it's a fair game. This place in my opinion doesn't play fair and thats why it doesn't deserve my 5 stars,...
