This is a small family run business making absolutely the best coffee on the island!! And so reasonably priced. My husband and I love our coffee. We went here every day, except Sundays when they’re closed, at least once a day. I mean everyone needs a little strong Americano in the morning and a mochaccino in the afternoon right🤷🏼‍♀️ Or you can just go ahead and order one of each at the same time, just drink the ice blended one first 👍 that there is a pro tip. The owners are absolutely the nicest people ever! Their new location is so wonderful for them, and much better for the customers who like to chitchat. Not that standing in the heat on the sidewalk at their old location deterred me in anyway from chatting them up 😂 but it’s such a quaint little coffee shop. Fun to go in and see the coffee being made. I feel like I’m in Italy. There are a couple of seats inside their air-conditioned shop and some lovely Palapa seating just outside. A real family run business making delicious coffee, pastries and baguettes. You can get a variety of different meat and cheese combinations on their freshly baked baguettes or bagels. It’s not a huge sandwich, just the right size for one person. Or little snacky snack for 2. Again so reasonably priced. You have to wait, because they make them fresh to order. Comes hot off the super legit panini press. If you’re not staying nearby, go ahead and start eating that sandwich right away. You’ll thank me later for that tip! …..We visited in March 2022. So please keep in mind that their menu prices are subject to change. Everyone knows the price of absolutely everything is...

We went every morning of our stay on the island (except when closed on Sundays). The owner is super friendly and willing to make my complicated order (iced latte, extra shot, almond milk, flavor). I ordered hazelnut and to my happy surprise it was drizzled Nutella instead of liquid syrup (I got it again the next time!) The iced lattes had coffee ice cubes so they don't water down your drink when it begins to melt 💯.

My Spanish is very poor, but the owner was bilingual and helped me order my drink, repeating it back multiple times to ensure it was correct and helping me learn new words, as well:)

They wake up early and bake fresh pastries and baguette sandwiches. We had the apple/manzana strudel and it's so flaky and delicious.

Currently it's just a walk up window and a few bistro tables, but I believe when it's not covid times they seem to have indoor tables.

The owner said they've been open for 4 years and you can see why. I'm hoping to return to the island and this is...

I wish that businesses realized the importance of updating their hours on Google, TripAdvisor, etc for tourists!

I was craving a coffee and saw Coffee Break in the search results and decided to give it ago! We did not realize it was located inside a hotel and had difficulty finding it in the midday heat. After about 20 minutes of driving in circles, we finally found it and made our way inside only to see they had a sign out saying they were closed for vacation :(

Come on guys...Please update your social media pages so that tourists know you aren't open. Neither Facebook, Instagram, or TripAdvisor had any posts regarding your closing.

Maybe we'll be able to try you guys...

Awesome hidden gem. Friendly staff. Simple menu. Tip -- try the awesome baguette (no sharing). I enjoyed it thoroughly for my breakfast and was sad after my last bite. Cappucino was well made as well as the apple strudel. Bonus -- prices are reasonable. Nice to see considering all the food in this island is like super expensive.

The best coffee on the island ! They're closed on Sundays, remember! We tried going the last morning in Isla, so disappointed but their coffee is so good! They use coffee cubes instead of ice cubes so there's no layer of water as the cubes melt. And the frappe is to die for! A short walk away from ixchel.

Perfect place for breakfast. I spend 2 weeks and Mexiko and I say, this was the best coffee I've had on my trip. Went there every morning. Also the baguettes are delicious, fresh made by order and are available for a really good price (50 Mexican peso for ham & cheese)
