Algo Bueno PV — Restaurant in Jalisco

I came here expecting the best fried chicken burger that other reviewers were talking about and was not disappointed.

We had the Mac and cheese as well as both the algo chicken burger and BBQ beef burger.

-Mac and cheese is amazing. Crazy good flavor. -Beef burger was saucy, messy, and loaded with onions. If that doesn't sound like your thing skip it, but it's definitely my thing. -The chicken burger is to die for. It's big, it's crispy, and the Chipotle sauce they use makes this taste better than any Nashville burger I've had.

Wife and me love trying these small little restaurants and this is one of those gems if you want something different than Italian or Tacos.

Edit: they've moved since a 2024. We were confused at first and so were many others. This place has the best fried chicken sandwich! We got the classic because it's made with dark meat (thigh) and we added the slaw for an extra 20 pesos. Totally worth it and highly recommend. The chicken was so tender, juicy, and perfectly crispy.

We also shared the mac and cheese. It looks like a small portion but don't let the size fool you because it's extremely decadent and filling. They literally melt a thick layer of cheese on top. We thought we would need one each but we couldn't even finish sharing one! We forgot to add bacon but will do so next time.

First, and just as important as how great the food is, we have Carlos. Host, server… he may as well own the place because he treats it as it’s his own business. It’s a straight forward menu but it’s prepared with excellence. If I’m having a fried chicken Caesar it should be crispy and tender and full of flavor. But the gem is Carlos, not much else needs to be said, he is hospitality and everyone in the surrounding neighborhoods flock to where he is because he takes care of you. Period.
