The lineup for Panchos was super long so we ended up here! I like trying new taco places anyways so it worked out because the tacos here were pretty yummy.
I had the al pastor, pescada, and taco revolucion. The first two were pretty standard and I loved the mango hot sauce. It wasn't too spicy for me for once! Although the al pastor meat was on the dry side and didn't have as much flavor as Panchos.
The taco revolucion was intense and will definitely make you super full. It was full of so much cheese and yummy goodness... Definitely not for those with sensitive stomachs haha. But I totally devoured it because it was so delicious! My boyfriend on the other hand only had a few bites cause he's sensitive to oil haha.
We also had the horchatas here which were decent but I wish they came out colder.
The staff here were very quick and also remind you right away that this place is cash only.
Lots of seating inside the restaurant with a few tables outside on the patio. Overall this is a decent place to go to...
Read morePretty good but a little different than I am accustomed. Carne asada did not seem grilled or barbecued but rather some other cooking method. Also pork ordered as adobo was served as al pastor. I figure they saw me as white and wouldn't know any difference rather than tell me the style wasn't available. I can appreciate the fact not every menu item may not be available every time. But to think an American won't tell or know the difference strikes me wrong. Salsas served are very good the yellow one requires much more caution. It is pineapple habenaro I will say very tasty however much more spicy than most people imagine. The food itself is good but can't speak for consistency. Definitely geared towards American tourists however with the assumption you are ignorant of the cuisine styles. It is worth eating here but I feel they are slightly disrespectful in the assumption American and Canadians are ignorant of the cuisine styles. Otherwise tasty and...
Read moreTacos Revolution is hands down the best spot for tacos in Zona Romántica—maybe even all of Vallarta! As a vegetarian, I appreciate their fantastic options, and my go-to is always the Jamaica Tacos con Vegan Panela—absolutely delicious. The flavors, the textures, and the freshness make every bite unforgettable. And let’s not forget their totopos and salsas—easily the best I’ve had anywhere!
I’ve been coming here for about four years whenever I’m in Vallarta, and the quality and warmth of this place never disappoint. Tonight was extra special because I got to meet the amazing Judith, the owner, thanks to a friend’s introduction. She made me feel even more at home, adding to the already welcoming atmosphere of this gem of a restaurant.
If you’re in Vallarta and love tacos—vegetarian or not—Tacos Revolution is a must! Con mucho gusto y...
