Great burgers and breakfast. I went twice, once for the burger and another time just to try the giant pancake. First, the burger. It’s really well prepared. I had their Bobo double but upgraded to the wagyu patty and added a side of the artisanal mustard. I appreciated that they served the mustard as a side and let me add as I wanted. The patty was flavorful and properly cooked. Very fresh toppings and a nice bun that doesn’t fall apart. To be sure, the burger did not require anything, but the mustard was delicious! Practically addicting! I had a hard time choosing between with or without mustard. Fries were crispy and not greasy. I had their Mexican craft beer made for them. Overall a really good impression and I aim to return for other burger choices.
Walking past a different morning, I saw some people enjoying the pancake and decided to try it on subsequent visit. It’s one large and thick pancake. It’s properly prepared but it’s quite cakey. In fact it reminded me of cake batter. Not as moist as a normal size US pancake, it’s fluffy and quite dry. The butter and syrup add a lot moisture and sweetness to the overall dish, but are also very overpowering. I found myself using the melting butter to moisten the sides of the pancake. I ordered a side of bacon, which was thick and meaty, less fatty or crispy than typical US bacon, more like bacon in the U.K. The saltiness complimented the sweetness of the pancake and syrup but made a filling dish much more so. Thankfully, regular coffee comes with free refills (thoughtful touch!) which I required 3 times to get through the meal. I couldn’t finish the pancake, just too rich and filling for me. I’d say, with the bacon, it’s a two person meal.
This is a new location in Roma Norte, so it’s always crowded in peak hours. I went on off days and did not have a wait, however I walked past several times when there was a line. By the time I finished breakfast there were people waiting. The service was good both visits, but when it’s busy the staff might not be able to get to you as quickly despite their hustle. Due to the crowds, it’s not a relaxed, casual atmosphere to slowly enjoy a meal. This might change as the novelty wears off. It’s open air, so you might need a jacket or layer if it’s early or late. I look forward to trying some of the...
Read moreI’ve been here 3x and unfortunately it’s been awful experience after awful experience, and at this point, there’s no redemption.
1st time - we arrived at 11am and were told that if we were in line before noon, they guaranteed we’d be served breakfast. we indicated we were there for the pancakes, and they let us know they’d set one order aside. we waited 2 hours and when we were sat, conveniently 80% of the breakfast items were sold out, and, they couldn’t bring us the hotcakes. we chalked it up to them being newly opened (I think it was still the first month)
2nd time — they spilled hot coffee all over my friend. they were out of hashbrowns by 10am.
3rd time - today, today was inexcusable. we arrived at 11:50 and inquired if they were still serving breakfast. They assured us yes. We order at 12, two burritos and glasses of water. They don’t bring us water until 12:30. At 12:45 a waiter tells us they inputted our order after the breakfast cut off and there’s nothing they could do… we waited almost an hour before...
Veredicto Final: Bobo Cafe ofrece mucho sabor y creatividad. A pesar de pequeños detalles en la velocidad del servicio, es un destino de brunch de primer nivel. ¡Definitivamente volveremos!

Bobo Cafe isn’t just another brunch spot—it’s a creative twist on breakfast classics, featuring high-quality ingredients and bold flavors. From the first bite, it’s clear this place cares about detail.
What We Tried: Huevito Bobo : An absolute flavor explosion. The hashbrown base was crispy, the organic fried chicken was juicy, and the chipotle hollandaise sauce was brutal—creamy with a subtle smoky kick. A must-order. Chilaquiles Clasicos: We opted for the red version with organic egg and chicken. The chips held their crunch, the sauce was well-balanced, and the toppings were generous. Delicious and satisfying. Pancakes Bobo: Fluffy, buttery, and drenched in just-the-right-sweetness buttermilk syrup. Note: This is a literal thick, fluffy pancake (singular), not a stack of thinner hotcakes. As photogenic as it is tasty. (It may take 30 minutes to cook)
The Experience: The staff was attentive and friendly, helping us choose and offering recommendations. However, the service was a bit slow during our visit—worth noting for those in a hurry.
Pro Tip: Lines start forming after 9:30 AM, so arrive early to secure a table without the wait!
The vibe is cozy and modern, perfect for a relaxed weekend brunch. While the prices are slightly higher than average, the quality and portion sizes make it worth every peso.
Final Verdict: Bobo Cafe delivers big on flavor and creativity. Minor service speed bumps aside, it’s a top-tier brunch destination. We’ll...
