I was looking for something lowkey to do for Dia de Los Muertos but still wanted a good vibe, and this bar delivered!

It’s a smaller spot, which actually makes it feel more intimate and welcoming. Whether you're there with friends, on a date, or just want to strike up a conversation with other patrons, it’s a great setting for all of that. I recommend making a reservation.

The music was definitely a vibe — there was a live DJ in-house, and they kept the energy going all night. I found myself jamming along, which doesn’t happen often. The cocktails were top-notch, mixed perfectly, and clearly crafted with care. Pair that with some delicious food, and you’ve got an ideal night out.

One of the coolest parts was how it had a speakeasy vibe; I even had a little trouble finding it at first, which just added to the charm!

It is more a place for drinks than for food. The mezcalita was a favorite - the watery slushie format was surprisingly good.

The food quality is inconsistent as the night progressed. We tried the pork shank and it was good (can be made gluten-free without the beer). The sirloin tostada was decent, albeit too salty. When our friends arrived later (closer to midnight), the food quality deteriorated (the same sirloin tostada was extremely salty) and the kitchen ran out of many food options.

Overall the atmosphere is chill and fun, and the live DJ is a great touch...

This is such a cool place to visit. The cocktails were all very good. We got the last word, negroni and mezcal highball.
