A beautiful and aesthetic brunch place that felt cozy and inviting, with great service—though the food was a bit underwhelming and slightly overpriced. When we arrived, we were instantly greeted and seated inside the cafe. The space felt airy and inviting, and we felt comfortable right away as we received menus and heard about the concept. To start, we ordered an espresso and an Earl Grey tea with milk. I specifically wanted more of a London Fog, and the staff tried their best since they weren’t familiar with how to prepare one (7/10).

For our main courses, we shared an egg plate with mushrooms and French toast. We waited around 20 minutes for our breakfast, which felt average. The egg omelet, while very aesthetic, wasn’t anything out of this world—it was a bit dry and somewhat bland (6.5/10). The French toast looked much more appealing, but the portion was a bit small. The flavors were good, though again, nothing extraordinary (7/10). We were checked on several times during our visit, which we greatly appreciated. However, after receiving our bill, it felt somewhat overpriced considering the food quality we received. At this point, it seemed we were paying more for the aesthetics of the place.

While the service was very friendly, the food was underwhelming at best. The Earl Grey tea felt particularly overpriced at $95, which wasn’t worth it, and the eggs at $195 also felt elevated compared to their taste. Maleza has great potential, and I truly loved the space and the service, but the food left me slightly disappointed, especially...

This place is incredible. The service was impeccable the entire time, we honestly felt like we had a private dining experience with how well we were taken care of (thank you Israel!)

We were treated to a complementary pastry basket, and the croissant that I chose was incredible buttery and delicious. It also came with a selection of homemade jams and fresh butter. The coffees were also fantastic (and I am a very tough coffee critic and have in general found the coffee in CDMX to be a too weak).

For mains, I got the eggs with mushrooms, which was like a thin omelette that was perfectly seasoned with herbs. The bacon was nice and crispy and medium-thick. The hash browns were more like a million-layered potato dish - nice and crispy on the outside.

Overall, a really great experience and I truly truly...

This place has it all! The food is high quality, unique, and absolutely delicious. We had the pleasure of being served by Israel who allowed us to sample some menu items, and put so much care into the cadence with which our food was brought out. We were constantly checked in on, and wanted for nothing by the end of our stay - I cannot recommend this place enough, and I look forward to coming back next time I’m in Mexico City.

They don’t have many reviews as they just opened in November 2024. I have a feeling next time I’m in Mexico City they will be packed 😊

The fruit and French toast were absolutely delicious. I also ordered the bone broth soup which was soothing and perfectly balanced with the ginger. We each had two...
