"A cozy, casual restaurant located on a pristine area with the best of Mexican cuisine" After a long walk around several areas and parks we decided to take a final walk in search of food. We wanted to have some Mexican food but not on a crowded area or restaurant. Without realizing how good the food was, we got inside this little restaurant hoping quality of service were as good as the area. The tortillas were freshly made right in front of us. There was a lady whose job was to make tortillas all they long what a though job but by the same token thank God she was making those tortillas...the best on the world. Our food was incredibly delicious, all portions were the right size. I felt like the guy from ratatouille, I closed my eyes and had flashbacks while tasting those amazing flavors. The service they provide is the icing of the cake. The best of Mexico can be found at restaurants like this. They represent both the favor of the Mexican food and the kindness of Mexican people. Two thumbs and two toes up!

This is a simple looking restaurant. Nothing fancy, no ambience, just darn good Mexican food! This morning my wife and I came here, for the second time, for breakfast. She ordered the Montado and I, the A La Cazuela. She had fried eggs with beef steak, avacado, and refried beans. Mine was scrambled eggs with chicken seasoned and cooked on the vertical grill (just like a gyros) and finished in a delicious chili sauce, spicy but perfectly done in a clay pot. This was the best breakfast in a long time. And what a pleasant surprise...the bill came. 2 meals, both came with fresh squeezed orange juice and including the tip (15%)...$21USD You must come to this place. Maybe we will meet up here cause I am coming back.

I came across this place on my way to another restaurant. The service was fast and friendly and I appreciated the “menu del día” which is affordable and has a lot of options, including four different agua frescas which I love! The agua (strawberry was too sweet but I watered it down) & the food was a little salty. The mole enchiladas had WAY too much sauce... so much that they come with refried black beans that I couldn’t even see them. So not an ideal food experience but I’ve had lots worse! I would go back because of the service and the menu price but I wasn’t fully impressed with the food this first time so I’d like to try it again and see if another item would be better than the enchiladas.

We had the pastor tacos, guacamole appetizer and a dish (can't recall the name) that consisted of steak, onions, peppers and potatoes over a couple corn tortillas. Food comes with the usual salsa options plus lime slices and pico. Also had a couple margaritas that were very refreshing on a warm evening. Everything was excellent. Not super cheap but still a fair price for the amount of food. Service was quick and interior was comfortable.

The small pozole (around 89 pesos) with red soup and pork was okay and didn’t have much flavor. Even the white soup tasted similarly bland. The rest of the menu is on the pricier side. Señor taco had a deal at the end of the menu pdf where you pick an item from the selected few in categories, but they said they didn’t offer it at night :(

I got the taco vaquero, the al pastor, and the rajas con crema. The al pastor was very good and I would certainly order that one again. The vaquero was ok. The rajas con crema was definitely not my thing. The salsas were all very good though I didn't care for the one that was mostly oil. The service was good. The ambience was average.
