Shake Shack — Restaurant in Mexico City

If I could rate this place as 0 stars, I would. Horrible food. Worse hamburgers ever.

1. Our order was sitting at the counter for more than 20 minutes. My husband approached the counter guy and asked if that was our order (because he noticed that it was identical to what we ordered) and he said “no no it’s not yours”… ok we waited and waited…. and he went to the counter and asked again, they confirmed that it was our order indeed. Logically, my husband asked them to make the order again. They went a little back and forth and agreed to make it again.
2. we received our order (finally). THE WORSE. Greasy, tasteless and waste of money hamburgers AND fries. Honestly, we couldn’t even finished it. I tried hard but had to put ketchup in it at every bite.

I usually don't write reviews, but eating at this place was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I mean you see a place full of people which should be a good sign, right?! We ordered 2 burgers, fries with cheese dip, a lemonade and a vanilla shake. The burger was totally tasteless, I had to add salt after each bite, the fries were greasy, the dip had an awful, artificial, powderish taste and the lemonade was so sweet that after adding water 3 times I still couldn't enjoy it while drinking. At the end I also had bad stomach (i usually eat burgers almost twice that size, plus fries, but have never had such a problem before) ONLY POSITIVE: the staff was perfectly organised...

The burgers are really really good, a little low on size, but you can always order another one. The fries were kinda meh, but that's only compared to the burger itself. The shake was just as expected, not too bad, not too good. The really astounding thing was the burger, I cannot stress enough how good this burger is. You should at least try it once. The bad side is that it's extremely expensive for a fast food restaurant, you can get a healthier meal on a cheap formal restaurant with the same money. But if you're on a budget you can always just order a burger and they have fresh purified water for free on the...
