Taco Santo – 100% Vegan Taquería Bliss in CDMX! 🌮✨ Finally, a taquería where everything on the menu is vegan – no compromises, no questions asked. Taco Santo in Mexico City is a plant-based paradise, and it totally delivers on flavor. This is an easy walk up in order restaurant. We loved the jackfruit tacos – tender, smoky, and packed with that classic al pastor vibe. The chickpea chorizo tacos were another standout: savory, and surprisingly meaty in texture. Every bite felt authentic yet completely cruelty-free. Service was warm and attentive, and they start you off right with a green and red salsa duo, fresh limes. The birria (vegan, of course) and sopa azteca were perfect for warming up on a chilly November night in CDMX – rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The grilled suadero burritos? Absolute winners. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly charred. Don’t skip the grilled green onions on the side – they’re a smoky touch of genius. If you’re vegan, veg-curious, or just love incredible tacos, Taco Santo is a must-visit. Mexico City’s vegan scene keeps getting better, and this spot is leading the...

This is an unassuming place that hides the mastery of Chef Jonathan. You won't find meat substitutes here, fellow vegans. Get a Spicy Señorita or a Classic Jamaica if you don't want the heat as a cocktail to start. We had the palm and mango ceviche. The salsas tasted like ambrosia - unique and zippy. Get the green chickpea chorizo taco, the black Pastor taco with mushrooms, the Chile cascabel with red chickpea chorizo, the huitlacoche quesadilla, and if you go by the Chef's recommendation - the vegan tuna tostada made with watermelon. I polished off this food quickly or dare I say - inhaled it. The piece de resistance was the Pan De Muerto. It was soft, pillowy, dusted with sugar and coated in orange blossom water. I can see the dead lining up to come back and eat this. Loved this place and the experience of sitting on the sidewalk taking in the sights and sounds of Roma. Come and eat here. You...

If you're in Mexico and looking for unforgettable vegan tacos, Santo Vegano is an absolute must-visit. I had the mushroom pastor taco and the jackfruit taco, and both were extraordinary. The flavor combinations were rich, satisfying, and deeply authentic. Each bite was perfectly complemented by their red and green salsas, and a squeeze of fresh lime brought everything to life. The mushroom pastor had an incredible smoky, savory depth, while the jackfruit taco was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Both tasted like a love letter to traditional Mexican street food, with a totally plant-based twist. Special shoutout to Chef Sara and Chef Juanita, not only are they extremely skilled, but they’re also incredibly warm and kind. Their passion and care are obvious in every single taco. Hands down, this was one of the best taco experiences I’ve had in Mexico—vegan or not....
